I really hope Jade and the sugababes basically record a brand new album for Sweet 6/3/1. The only tracks that i think should be carried over from 3.0 should be Wait for you and about a girl. jade & co should just scrap all the rest and come out with a really banging album.

I don't think they should carry over Wait For You. Wear My Kiss - yes, but WFY has Keisha's vocals all over it. Jade would kill it.

About A Girl and Wear My Kiss both do not have a patch on Keisha's originals.

I prefer Wear My Kiss with Jade, her voice seems so relaxed and just suits the song...except the "everybody hit the floor"..she should have sung it like keisha did "everybody hit the flo"...more attitude. About A Girl was about the same..but I just prefer Jade's voice. Keisha's grated on me a bit.

Both versions of Wear My Kiss are practically identical so I don't think there is any contest between them to be honest!

Jade's version of AAG is far superior to Keisha's imo. She gives it a bit more "oomph", whereas Keisha's sounds like less has gone into it tbh. Though that's just her style I guess, and I don't mind Keisha's version in all honesty. Has the HQ Wear My Kiss with Jade leaked yet? I've only heard the radio rip so can't judge that properly, but there's nothing much in it. The verses are hardly the most challenging to sing!

It's out March 8th so personally i don't wanna hear previews till March.

On the whole Keisha or Jade version thing, I love Jade and I adore her voice but I only listen to the AAG and WMK versions with Keisha's vocals on them. Obviously on the radio it's Jade but that's not my choice. Subconscious decision by me I think. Maybe I do prefer Keisha.

I didnt even think twice, I just deleted the Keisha versions :kink: Of no interest to me with Jade's now on my ipod :wub:

I merged the versions together as I liked some Keisha bits (e.g AAG chorus and WMK middle 8) and some Jade bits (eg. AAG bridge and WMK verse)

I think Keisha's version of About A Girl is so much better. I just don't think Jade's works as well. The "let's have a party-oh" parts don't fit the song anymore because of that weird autotune effect that they put on it. And also did anyone else notice on the middle-8 that they took away the echo effect (on Jade's version)? God I've listened to the song so many bloody times I must know every single in and out of it!

 

I prefer Jade's Wear My Kiss though, apart from the Temporary Tattoo part - Keisha sounds orgasmic on that part!!! But maybe that's just me favouring Keisha because she's my fave...

 

I have to say, Jade is such a breath of fresh air to the band at the minute. Amelle and Heidi have begun to irritate me, not sure why. I think it was the Live from studio 5 interview that made them come across as a bit arrogant, like "Umm we didn't even consider changing our name!!! Don't be stupid!!". I'm not saying that I think they should change their name, just that I can understand where the people who think they should change it are coming from.

There is one new track. There's 12 on that promo and 11 originally announced.
