i think album sales would increase

no offense, but they're not exactly going to decrease are they!

I hope they get dropped by island and someone else picks them and have better promotion

I'm surprised at how much I like this album! After two listens here are my ratings;

6.0 Get Sexy - I can see why it was the lead single, but I've never been a huge fan, and Jade sounds dire on it. The original would have got 8/10.

7.5 Wear My Kiss - Generic central, this is b-side fodder! Catchy chorus though!

9.0 About A Girl - Easily the best single of the era thus far, always loved this :D

7.5 Wait For You - It has some potential but it feels utterly pedestrian at the same time

8.0 Thank You For The Heartbreak - The production on this is very dated, sounds very early 00's...catchy but nothing amazing for me

8.5 Miss Everything - After the genius of Fire Burning I don't have a problem with Sean Kingston anymore :drama: I like this!

9.5 She's A Mess - The spoken parts on this song are fantastic. It's generic yes, but also has some of the Sugacharm of the old days. Great.

6.5 Give It To Me Now - Completely average, I have nothing more to say on the matter...

9.5 Crash & Burn - This is the sort of thing I imagined being on Jade's album, judging by Punching Out at least. This is fantastic, reminds me of No Air.

7.5 No More You - Nice, but nothing more.

9.0 Sweet & Amazing (Make It The Best) - Really like this, one of the few songs I can imagine previous Suga incarnations doing.

8.5 Little Miss Perfect - Nice album closer, always good to hear the Poundland electro synths disappear for a few minutes :kink:

Decent album, three or four tracks define generic filler but there are enough great songs on here for me to ignore that, there are at least three songs I prefer to all of the singles too! Pleasantly shocked!

Hmm - here's hoping it can climb!

If it doesn't then there's nothing else that can be done - I really like this album. People will start warming to it sooner or later.

they did a Capital Radio session today :) can't wait to see the performances :)
i think it will do a chasing lights chart run like enter not in top 10 drop for a while but den rise really fast !!

Doubt it.

The album has seen THREE singles before its release aswell as seeing the album leak two months before-hand with no action being taken, awful/lazy promotion, scandal after scandal in the press causing a public backlash and just generally a lack of interest. There's nothing on this album that is a stand-out, amazing song that will guarantee sales.

The best thing - at this point - would to just release it and then call it a day for 'Sweet 7'. Take a few months off before starting work on a new album.

I'd say throw out Crash & Burn to attempt to gain some form of interest in the album, and have a new single ready for release late this year with the 8th album

"Crash & Burn" won't do much. If they way a ballad type single, go with what seems to be the popular choice - "Thank You For The Heartbreak".

Or better yet - LISTEN to the fans and release "She's A Mess". I mean, I've seen so many people highlighting this as one of their favourite songs. It makes sense to release it (if they're set on releasing another single).

Hopefully they will sing other songs of Sweet 7 ^_^

As a casual fan who owns the album, I can't see either being a smash. Thank You For The Heartbreak sounds dated and just not like a hit at all, whilst Crash & Burn as good as it is, wouldn't be a hit either I don't think.

She's A Mess indeed would be the best choice, they're known for their uptempo songs this era, they might as well finish it off with the best uptempo on the album
