Former Disney star and singer Ashley Tisdale is releasing a 7-song EP following her sophomore album titled "Guilty Pleasure".

"Rebirth" is expected to reach stores in March, 2010.

Singer/actress Ashley Tisdale is set to release an EP including six brand new tracks and the single version of the track "Crank It Up" featuring guest vocals by Jay Sean, best known by his number one hit "Down". "Rebirth" is expected to be released under Warner Bros. Records in March, 2010, following her sophomore album titled "Guilty Pleasure".

Tisdale described the EP as an interlude of her debut albums and her upcoming album. The EP will be included as a bonus disc in a Deluxe Edition of "Guilty Pleasure" internationally.

The EP's lead single, "Crank It Up (Remix)", is being released in January, 2010.

Does this mean Guilty Pleasure is over?

Guilty Pleasure was over long ago, from the moment they cancelled all her promo when the album sank. Shame but she won't sell regardless now, she just isn't anybody's favourite Disney bitch anymore.

WB never gave her a chance tbh. They pretty much done zero promo with Headstrong. Slightly better with GP but nothing big enough to guarantee big numbers.

AH! More Songs already!

Guilty Pleasure has been one of the albums of the Year for me so I'm looking forward to this! :D

Re-release of Crank It Up is a good idea with Jay Sean as that'll platform her. It'll do really well if it gets the airplay it deserves and hopefully boost sales for both the Song and Album loads!

I'm looking forward to this - new tracks already!

I think that the 'Crank It Up' might be released in the UK as a full single, considering it will have Jay Sean on it. :D

That'd be awesome! If it's given promotion and airplay it could be unstoppable!

Yeah, it would be great for her to finally have a hit in the UK.

Nooo! But it was bound to happen that they stopped 'Guilty Pleasure' era too soon :(

Anyhow, can't wait to hear the new tracks plus the version of 'Crank It Up' with Jay on it :D

How do they expect an album to sell well after giving it next to no promotion? After It's Alright, It's OK and the album flopped they should've followed it up with another single and loads of promotion straight away-the album's heaving with single-worthy tracks. Exciting to hear there's new stuff coming if true though!
