It's by a band called Metric Fantasies- I have never heard of them before but I can't stop listening to this song. The vocal is so pure and the lyrics are haunting and beautiful at the same time. What do you think?

They're called Metric, and the album is Fantasies, if you really like this check out the rest of their stuff and check out Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton, they're absolutely fantastic <333

Good to see a new person discovering the brilliance of Metric and Emily Haines :)

Fantasies is my favourite album of 2009, and I personally think it's also Metric's best album to date.

 

You should check out their back catalogue too!

Someone'll probably murder me for saying this, but i find Metric a bit mediocre and boring tbh. I've listened to Fantasies though, the only standout track i found was Stadium Love. The Acoustic EP? Gold Gun Girls is by far the best track on there...
