November 27, 200915 yr Interesting to see Chumbawamba charting at the bottom of the chart in 1993 when they are co-writers of a massive selling single this week!
November 27, 200915 yr Dave Would you be able to make a guess at what % of sales for the Peter Kay single were on CD/DVD compared to downloads?
November 27, 200915 yr Is the Take That live dvd ineligible for the chart? :(Unless there is a CD equivalent then I think it may be. Unless there is a corresponding CD available for purchase at the same time then it isn't eligible for the albums chart. Or at least that was the chart rules a few months ago...
November 27, 200915 yr ^ That's a hard one, individual dowloads of the track are low, but the bundle on the iTunes album chart does count, yet individual downloads of the video do not.
November 27, 200915 yr ^ That's a hard one, individual dowloads of the track are low, but the bundle on the iTunes album chart does count, yet individual downloads of the video do not.is that for the Take That DVD? I just remembered that chart rules did change a few months ago to allow digital albums to chart without the need for a physical equivalent (and for Take That the CD isn't available until Monday). So has the digital album been released already? If so, then either a CD still has to be released to make the DVD eligible or if there is a digital equivalent album already available and that is now enough to satisfy chart rules, the label have elected to not have the DVD sales included with the album sales. The chart rules get more confusing as time passes! Edited November 27, 200915 yr by Robbie

November 27, 200915 yr Lily Allen at #44, hopefully top 40 next week.. or with a bit of luck, top 40 this week. :kink:
November 27, 200915 yr Well it will Tom, won`t it. It may even dent the top 20. I was under the impression Pet Shop Boys EP was deliberately chart ineligible? With it being a 5-track EP with 4 unique tracks?
November 27, 200915 yr I was under the impression Pet Shop Boys EP was deliberately chart ineligible? With it being a 5-track EP with 4 unique tracks? If it's 4 unique tracks then it will be chart eligible. The chart rules allow 4 tracks plus versions of any or all of 4 tracks so long as the total running time doesn't exceed 25 minutes.
November 27, 200915 yr It is. I'm not 100% sure on the length though :unsure:I doubt they'd release a NCQ single - I'm sure they'd stay within the chart rules. The PSB could also include a video for each unique track and still stay within the chart rules.
