August 6, 201014 yr We can always have a "Who do You Want Beyoncé to duet with?" thread. I have many ideas. :heehee:
August 17, 201014 yr Author http://thatgrapejuice.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/bey1.jpg Beyonce has been hard at work in the studio crafting her next record recently. However, the diva took some time to talk to the DailyMail about her life including a new revelation that might shock some of her fans – the era of Sasha Fierce may be over for good. Check out what she had to say below: I don’t need Sasha so much any more because these days I know who I am. It takes time to figure out who you are and I am still discovering different things about myself – as I am exposed to different experiences I think, “Oh, I like this, I didn’t know I liked this.” That’s the journey of life that is so exciting. More and more I know who I am, I know what I like, I know what I want and that makes me feel so free. I don’t need to hide any more. The real question is whether Beyonce will be retiring the musical persona of Sasha Fierce as well. There have been several indications that she will be taking a fresh approach with her upcoming album and if that is truly the case then it may be time to put her usual beat-driven and lyrically shallow style to rest in favour of more personal expression. Although she may have won several awards on the basis of popularity for ‘Single Ladies’, I sense that Beyonce has been churning out such tunes as a way for her to compensate for her lack of artistic depth. Beyonce definitely has the talent to create iconic material. All she has to do is stop shaking her backside for a minute and try to find meaning in her music instead of paying people to do it for her. www.thatgrapejuice.net Edited August 17, 201014 yr by Mezzedup

September 20, 201014 yr RAP-UP: What else are you working on right now? Jim Jonsin: There's plenty of people I'm working with. Beyoncé! That's something we just got a call the other day to start amping that up. We're gonna get in for a week or two. So, that's something that I'm excited about. RAP-UP: I know it's early in the process with the Beyoncé project? So, you just got the call? You haven't actually done anything yet? Jim Jonsin: We haven't. We're submitting tracks to her. See if she's digging the direction. And if she does, we're gonna follow that direction. I think she's tryna find sounds that she likes from different producers. There's a couple of us, I guess, she's working with. And then from that, we'll get in and cut songs. But I haven't heard anything yet of where her head's at. RAP-UP: Do you have any ideas in mind of how to take her to the next level? How do you top the last album? Jim Jonsin: You know, coming off that album, I'd love to reach a little more -- coming off that "Sweet Dreams" record -- I think I'd like to just take it even more Depeche Mode-ish. You know? Like 80's electro with just some hard drums -- you know? I'd love to go there. Even some sexy midtempos with some front 2 4 2 drums. Big crackin drums. See if she likes that. I'm gonna try some of that.
September 23, 201014 yr EXCITING NEWS RIGHT HURR. Interesting bit about the "party sound", although I'm not getting my hopes up, we'll just have to "C" in 3 weeks time. ^_^ Beyoncé is gearing up to release her new single in the next three weeks, according to the song's producer. The singer, who released nine singles from her third studio album I Am...Sasha Fierce, will reportedly release a brand new track before the end of the year. Los Da Mystro, who is best known for his work with Chris Brown, posted on his Twitter page: "Listening to New B record Dream wrote...F**KING INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Yall C in 3 weeks!" Clarifying that he was referring to Beyoncé, he tweeted on her fan page: "All i can say i Ladies yall got anither Athem!! Is it a BIG record." On its imminent release, he noted: "That’s what they sayn now... But it is the music Business. could b sooner [or]lata." Producer Sean Garrett recently revealed that Beyoncé's LP will have a "party" sound. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a27...hree-weeks.html
September 23, 201014 yr I hope she does something other than mostly generic R&B like she normally does, I like her more when she experiments with something different like 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Why Don't You Love Me' etc. I feel a lot of the time that she's better than a lot of the music she puts out, it doesn't represent her as well as it could and it frustrates me.
September 25, 201014 yr ^ I agree, a whole album of her experimenting would be the best  Maybe she could go dance like Kelis' FleshTone or dark like Rihanna's Rated R! Edited September 25, 201014 yr by Liam Gleek.
October 1, 201014 yr EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Uber-Music Producer Sean Garrett On Britney, American Idol, and Beyoncé http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2010...erican-idol-and We heard you're working on tracks for Beyoncé's new album. What can you tell us? Everything is really hush hush with her. It's going to be her biggest album ever! But she's personally instructed me to "shut up Sean." So all I can say is she's really grown since her last album and I'm really proud of her.
October 1, 201014 yr I hope this album is more like her debut album. AND 'Sweet Dreams'... I love her songs when they are in that style. 'Single Ladies' is also a guilty pleasure. :kink:
October 1, 201014 yr I would like to hear sounds from all three of her albums, but also some new sounds. ^_^ Also, MrLovett, your signature is great, and that would be a really good album title. :D
October 2, 201014 yr I hope this album is more like her debut album. AND 'Sweet Dreams'... I love her songs when they are in that style. Well you'll be happy to know that she's working with the producer of Sweet Dreams, again. ^_^ Also, MrLovett, your signature is great, and that would be a really good album title. :D Thanks. I found it on a website, and loved it. I'd like it as the album title too. :kink:

March 23, 201114 yr Beyoncé Starts Recording New Album? Beyoncé is said to be back in the studio working on her new album, according to Odd Future band member Frank Ocean. Ocean has posted a snap of the Sweet Dreams singer in his studio on Twitter, fuelling reports that Queen B is gearing up to release her fourth LP later this year. As well as posting a pic of Beyoncé recording new material, he also accompanied the image with the comment: "This is the room i'm working in this day. not to brag but man, this is surreal. like..she's singing my songs (sic)." He added: "If time were to stop right now, the past couple weeks would be near the top of the highlight reel for my short time on earth." Ocean later deleted the tweets and it has not yet been revealed whether his studio sessions with Jay-Z's missus are for her next record or a separate project. Beyoncé is also thought to have been working with the likes of Diplo and Sleigh Bells on her new album, the follow-up to her smash hit 2008 LP, I Am…Sasha Fierce.

April 2, 201114 yr A release date is a few months off but we hear six-time Grammy Award-winner Beyoncé's new album is sure to be another worldwide hit. Sony Music Australia boss Denis Handlin flew to New York for meetings with executives last week, and was treated to an audience with the bootylicious lady herself. The former Destiny's Child singer rocked up in person to play international Sony executives songs from her new and fourth solo studio album, due for release late June. Before playing the music, Beyoncé said: "I just love making music and sharing it with my fans." As a solo artist, Beyoncé has sold more than 11 million albums [uS], and millions more with Destiny's Child. She is one of the most successful popstars of her generation. "It was just amazing," Handlin told Insider of the new music. "She came in and played us six tracks from the album. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record, which will include Australia. These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she's gone to another level."http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertain...9-1226032005180
