November 24, 200916 yr Im so disappointed with enya's position i was sure it would do much better than top 40, very interesting chart overall and with all the huge competition JLS are still number 2, the albums success has totally surprised me i knew it would do well but i didnt think nothing like this. I hope janet jackson can hold top 30 at the lowest or hopefully go top 20. Could i ask for Bon Jovi and Snow Patrol and any take that positiions please??? Bon Jovi 30+6 SP single down 9 SP album non-mover No TT
November 24, 200916 yr nevermind Rhianna, i knew she had an album out but i didn't know Enya did and i watch a lot of daytime tv! she didn't have a hope in hell really, not that i'd have bought it either. also i agree that Rihanna's new stuff is alienating her pop fans, the people who are giving it time to listen to it are liking it but the generic little pop bitch who dances around to Dont Stop The Music is not interested in Russian Roulette. Rihanna has changed for the better imho!
November 24, 200916 yr I don't like Russian Roulette, but I loved DSTM. Does that make me a generic little pop bitch? :kink:
November 24, 200916 yr I don't like Russian Roulette, but I loved DSTM. Does that make me a generic little pop bitch? :kink: Yes! ...and ugh at the whole chart. What is going on in the music world, its like nobodies making good music any more.
November 24, 200916 yr I have a feeling 'Rated R' could be the next 'I Am Sasha Fierce' and peak well into next year. Beyonce only debuted at #10 or something at this point last year I think? I don't like 'Rated R' though and I love 'Russian Roulette'. I just found the album to bland.

November 24, 200916 yr glad Rihanna is truggling 'cause I think her radical change of direction is really crap! Hopefully it will ring a bell...
November 24, 200916 yr Peter Kay Number 1!- :cheer: I dont understand why people dont like this, it may not be a great song, but the video is pure genius Also, all the childrens characters bring back such nice memories
November 24, 200916 yr Do you have the positions of Mariah - All I Want For Christmas Is You Pogues - Fairytale Of New York
November 24, 200916 yr ugh at the whole chart. I agree almost entirely with that sentiment. There are one or two passable efforts in there, but the vast majority is awful. :(
November 24, 200916 yr Let's just remember that Beyonce had a similar debut last year but has gone on to sell 900k :)
November 24, 200916 yr Let's just remember that Beyonce had a similar debut last year but has gone on to sell 900k :) People keep pointing that out, but nothing on 'Rated R' is nearly as hit-worthy as ''Single Ladies'', ''Halo'' and ''Sweet Dreams'' which sold the album for Beyonce.
November 24, 200916 yr Do you have the positions of Mariah - All I Want For Christmas Is You Pogues - Fairytale Of New York Neither is top 40, so no, sorry. And personally I think the Peter Kay record is brilliant, or at lease the best charity record for A LONG TIME, and as you said CW, the video is
November 24, 200916 yr Don't worry Rihanna will be in the top ten tomorrow in albums and singles chart.
November 24, 200916 yr glad Rihanna is truggling 'cause I think her radical change of direction is really crap! Hopefully it will ring a bell... Yeah, Beyoncé's Sasha Fierce album debuted at 10 and later on peak at 2. So I think Rihanna that will happen. Beyoncé latest album was a grower like Rihanna's new one. Besides her album will reach top 5 next week as she on X-Factor this week.
November 24, 200916 yr Also it's kinda of freaky how Rihanna is at number three on itunes singles and albums charts and number 11 in official singles and albums charts.

I don't know how many times you've been told to do this, but I've seen it posted quite a few times. Edited November 24, 200916 yr by MrLovett
November 24, 200916 yr Wow glad JLS have managed to hold up in the album chart :D Always thought they would be Single sellers rather than album Expected them to have dropped quite a bit.. Anyone have the sales for top 5 albums ?
November 24, 200916 yr I'm not sure Rihanna's album will follow the same pattern as Beyoncé's, as already pointed out, she doesn't really have many obvious hits on there, while Beyoncé had quite a few. Rihanna and Susan are slightly lower than expected in the singles chart because they're a day behind the rest, being released on Monday morning.
