Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has claimed that Keisha Buchanan almost ruined her career.

 

Buchanan was forced out of Sugababes last month and replaced by former Eurovision singer Jade Ewen.

 

Berrabah told Metro: "[Keisha]ruined my career, almost. I still really respect Keisha but at the end of the last line-up it was getting really difficult for me and Heidi - to the point that it was going on for months and months.

 

"It ground me and Heidi down. I couldn't take it any more. When I was in LA I said, 'I can't do this any more'. I was willing not to even be in a band. Heidi backed me up and I respect her for that."

 

Berrabah added of her stint in a clinic for nervous exhaustion: "'I definitely needed it but I didn't know what I wanted at the start. I just knew I wasn't myself and I wasn't right. I knew I needed to take some time out but I didn't know how.

 

"Someone said there is this really great retreat that people go to for all different reasons, even with really stressy jobs. To clear your head. It definitely did the trick."

 

I think she needs to shut up about Keisha now. It's not doing her, the group or their single any favours. Part of the reason it's not doing as well as they'd hoped is because of what happened. They need to let it lie now. It's done.

 

Anyway, I'm glad she feels better.

Agree with you, Annie, I can't understand why she's talking about Keisha even now, it's getting annoying.

Oh dear, i'm glad she's better. I'd prefer if she'd just stop with the 'i couldn't do it anymore' blah blah blah.

They are probably regurgitated words from an interview a few weeks back.

Besides they have hardly gone on about it, its been mentioned a few times but generally only in interviews where they are asked. The news of the world was reporting Keisha said they are never going to be friends and that she could never trust them again..the only reason i believed it was because the journalist got a picture with her.

well I think either old statement reworded or she was asked a specific question. I never believe anything that is written down. I read an article based on an interview I had actually seen live and they had twisted it all to say what they wanted.

Yeah the statement probably is quite old.

 

This article was only just posted on Digital Spy (if that's where you got it from?) a few hours ago, and normalyy, Digity Spy are about 6 moths behind anyway. :lol:
