November 26, 200915 yr I think the idea originally came from Boyan, but he was originally from NSC over at Esctoday. Some other person started NSC, and I don't think that person even took part in the first NSC.....so he's been inactive ever since he started it
November 26, 200915 yr Boyan first came up with the idea, with some enthusiasm from a few of us originals. We got our own sub forum within days, and the rest is history ^_^
November 26, 200915 yr People with 10+ contests of non-participation between I and XXII don't count :smoke:
November 26, 200915 yr ha, I just looked through the first results show  I gave my top 3 points to Supersister, Mike Oldfield and Spice Girls, 6 to Maneater, 4 to Ashton! (Fotherington Islands), and only 2 to Kopecka's Tattoo (which later on to become a top ten hit in my chart) and 1 point to Mdice's winner Britney... wow, I was clearly voting for the hits there :nocheer: Ashton gave only 4 points to Delta's Believe Again :snif: :kink:
November 26, 200915 yr I was like England Football Association with regards to the World Cup: I was aware of its existence right from the get go, but stayed on the sidelines until I realised that it's concept was working (with BJSC VI when Beverly Knight - Black Butta (live version) won; with the Lily Allen original demo of The Fear 2nd beating the obviously BJ friendly Evanescence - Bring Me To Life into 3rd), and not a variance on the most popular acts on Buzzjack doing best.
November 26, 200915 yr I remember reading the first results show, then forgetting about the whole thing until May 2008 :P

November 26, 200915 yr i should have given it to Believe Again in retrospect. It didn't properly grow on me until i went to Aus :drama:
November 26, 200915 yr it blew me away on first listen and was one of about 4 songs (out of over 220) that have entered my chart at #1! I found it absolutely stunning first time I heard it, and every time since
November 26, 200915 yr LOL Most of my songs at number one debut there nowadays. Especially this crazy year :heehee:
November 26, 200915 yr I've had a LOT more high debuts this year...it used to be very very rare to see a top ten debut, now it's quite commonplace, but still I'd say that over 70% of my new entries come in between 41-50 and then climb... my BJSC entries tend to enter higher than average, or climb faster, as I become obsessed with them and keep playing them over and over

I was similar, but it was more that I forgot about it until VI. I remember seeing the confirmation for the first contest, I saw "Say You'll Be There" being sent and considered joining but then I forgot. I saw the banners in people's signatures between then, but it wasn't until I found myself in the Eurovision forum for the 2008 contest that I saw the forum and finally decided to sign up.
November 26, 200915 yr Mine likewise... I think Fibes had a run like 12-3-27-OUT :heehee: Of course Alphabeat is different
