Posted November 27, 200915 yr X-Factor 2009 running order OK, now things are getting down to the business end where all of the five remaing acts have two songs each to sing I thought I would take a look at the Final 6 acts in this year's contest and see if they have been evenly treated or whether some are more favourable treated than others: Danyl: Week 1: (Idols ) Last of 12 Week 2: (Divas) 6th of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) 7th of 10 Week 4: (Rock) 4th of 9 Week 5: (Movies) 6th of 8 Week 6: (Queen) Last of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) 4th of 6 Joe: Week 1: (Idols) 11th of 12 Week 2: (Divas) 5th of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) 9th of 10 Week 4: (Rock) 1st of 9 Week 5: (Movies) Last of 8 Week 6: (Queen) 4th of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) Last of 6 John and Edward: Week 1: (Idols) 10th of 12 Week 2: (Divas) 8th of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) Last of 10 Week 4: (Rock) 8th of 9 Week 5: (Movies) 7th of 8 Week 6: (Queen) 5th of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) 3rd of 6 Lloyd: Week 1: (Idols) 8th of 12 Week 2: (Divas) 7th of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) 2nd of 10 Week 4: (Rock) 3rd of 9 Week 5: (Movies) 3rd of 8 Week 6: (Queen) 2nd of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) 1st of 6 Olly: Week 1: (Idols) 3rd of 12 Week 2: (Divas) 2nd of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) 1st of 10) Week 4: (Rock) Last of 9 Week 5: (Movies) 2nd of 8 Week 6: (Queen) 3rd of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) 5th of 6 Stacey: Week 1: (Idols) 5th of 12 Week 2: (Divas) Last of 11 Week 3: (Big Band) 6th of 10 Week 4: (Rock) 5th of 9 Week 5: (Movies) 1st of 8 Week 6: (Queen) 6th of 7 Week 7: (George Michael) 2nd of 6 As you will see over the seven weeks Danyl & Joe have performed the golden spot of singing last twice; JedWard; Olly & Stacey have performed last once; yet poor young Lloyd has never sung last in the contest. In contrast acts who have performed in the first three singers: Lloyd 5 times (each of the last 5 weeks); Olly 5 times; Stacey twice; Joe & JedWard once; and surprise surprise  Danyl has never sung earlier than 4th spot. If I was to tot up on a points system depending on their position on the running order out of a maximum 63 (for performing last all seven weeks) the scores would be: Danyl 46 Joe 44 JedWard 51 Lloyd 26 Olly 25 Stacey 36 Taking into account the average would be (performing last all 7 weeks) 63 + (performing first all seven weeks) 7 divided by two: (63+7)/2 = 35 Then of the remaining five acts Danyl & Joe have been treated most favourably; Stacey has been treated averagely; and Lloyd & Olly have been treated badly. Hence, it is easy to conclude that Simon (as it is his show, etc) wants a Danyl or Joe victory and has been manipulating the running order accordingly; whilst although attacking them, he has clearly approved of JedWard for the box office ratings they have brought to the show.. Any thoughts on my conclusions...?
November 27, 200915 yr I thought about this when John & Edward were to perform in the bottom 4 for the 6th week since the beginning -_-
November 28, 200915 yr Interesting. you can see that since Lloyd was first in the bottom two he seems to have been one of the first acts on each time. Seems Stacey has been the only one getting a variety of performance slots. But it's always been known that Simon has favoured Danyl more than his other two.
