Dislike the cover tbh. Looks like a BJ Album Cover Design competition entry. D;

You are right though.

:D

Anyway I'd much rather have a dodgy cover with a great CD's worth of music inside it, than the other way around.

If that is the official cover, then it's horrendous.... tacky and poorly designed..... in fact, really poorly designed.

edit - yes, it IS the real deal... crikey - looks like someone's first outing with Photoshop... beyond amateurish.

Available on iTunes in Australia. Not long till it leaks I am guessing :)

Fabulous single cover.

Only trumped by the music inside it.

Think Pat Benatar meets Kylie meets Ladyhawke.

I can definitely see where you're coming from with the Ladyhawke thing, they almost seem to have ripped her off on this.

This is quite different for them though, very 80s sounding. I quite like the song on the first listen, although the chorus is a bit boring... but I'm sure it'll continue to grow on me. Still very much looking forward to the album as always.

The 80s influences are hardly 'different' for them; the whole of Supernature employed that sound!

This is really brilliant.

really liked this on first listen...

odd that both Goldfrapp and Gabriella Cilmi would both decide to resurrect this 'sound' at the exact same point in time :o

This is good on first listen. :o
On first listen its nothing special to me, same as On A Mission tbh
OMG is that it? The cheesiest synths I have ever heard! Sounds like some reject for a really bad 80s band. This 80s revivalism really has gone too far now.

Personally I thought the Supernature album was more 70s influenced = Glam Rock + Disco + New Wave.

But I agree with you = the song is brilliant.

This song is the second Goldfrapp single I LOVE! (After the obvious & underrated 'A&E')

It's brilliant.

If there was any justice, this would be Goldfrapp's first, and long-overdue, number one.

There isn't any justice, so it won't be.... but it's pretty magnificent isn' it? I'm hearing elements of Van Halen's 'Jump' in the synths.

It's not up to the standard of past greats from them tbh but decent enough on first listen. I like the sound and the lyrics but I'm going to give it a bit more time to grow.
