Posted December 9, 200915 yr - 16 in the final - Each judge/mentor has one person from each category - Guest judges - and a final at Wembley! Source! THOUGHTS?
December 9, 200915 yr AMAZING! I totally agree with the "Each judge/mentor has one person from each category" one! But it's starting to sound more and more like American Idol each year LOL. "Guest Judges"? :( As much as I'd like that, I just don't want them to be copying Idol! Also I like the sound of the Wembley final! :o
December 9, 200915 yr I think 16 in the final is a bit TOO much tbh. Guest judges could work for the audition stages I guess and a final in Wembley is a good idea I think to make it seem like a big event. Don't know if I'm too keen on each judge having one person from each category though ....
December 9, 200915 yr The each judge has 1 from each category idea is brilliant imo. Should have happened ages ago. 16 contestants..does this mean a 5th category then, so presumably the overs will be split into the men and the women? Guest judges shall be interesting. Final at Wembley also sounds interesting. Though of course none of it wil be forth it if Dannii Minogue doesnt return :P

December 9, 200915 yr This does sound like it's going to be either hit or miss. I will always watch X Factor though :P (Unless Dannii leaves then I may switch off)

Also I like the sound of the Wembley final! :o American Idol = Kodak Theater X Factor = Wembley =/ Nice to see some changes in the way they are doing it. I hope the old auditions are back though.

I like the format though, will the show start a month early to cater for the extra 4 weeks, or somewhere down the line we lose 2 acts in the first 2 weeks.
December 10, 200915 yr Daily Star though, that doesn't require a pinch of salt that requires a large skip of salt Its better with 12, 16 would be overkill unless the quality was exceptionally high which it won't be

December 10, 200915 yr Woa, it's getting a bit big! I hope it doesn't run how American Idol does, that just goes on for too long.. Tbh I don't care as long as Dannii is still a judge.
December 10, 200915 yr The one thing that has annoyed me more than anything this year has been the annoying chavs in the audience shrieking so loudly you can't hear the judges, hope something is done about that in 2010
December 10, 200915 yr To be more like AI would be much better. I also think that each judge mentoring one from each category would be a good thing.
December 10, 200915 yr I seriously think it is a bad idea one act from each category you just know there is going to be MONTHS of people claiming Dannii was given the worst acts. 16 is a good idea though considering all the talent got booted at the judges houses this year. December 10, 200915 yr This sounds fantastic if it's true, it's about time the x factor format got a serious shakeup. I don't mind 16 really....anymore than that and It might start getting a bit overwhelming but 4 more acts really isn't that big a deal I don't think. I'm actually excited about next years x factor now, Often people I support during the auditions fall at the last hurdle, so maybe with 4 extra slots they'll make it in. Guest judges should be interesting too :o
December 10, 200915 yr Isn't the whole mentoring thing a massive bunch of arse anyway? Surely they only seem their mentees a couple of times a week, at preprescribed times, always with the cameras and only for as long as they have to? I think if they saturate this thing too much then people may go off it, so yes, go for it - make it 52 weeks a year if you like.
