Just heard on Radio 5 Live from the X-Factor news conference the guests are according to Simon Cowell:

 

Joe + George Michael

Stacey + Michael Buble

Olly + Robbie Williams

 

I think we can safely officially say that Stacey has been shafted and is now virtually guaranteed elimination on Saturday night in 3rd with that pairing. :(

I'm not sure 'we can safely say that' at all - Buble is pretty huge amongst the housewife demographic isn't it? To me it seems like Joe has drawn the short straw but whatever.

Hmm it is hard to say really. Buble is very popular at the moment but would his fans be the type that would vote for Stacey just because he performed with her? With George it is hard to know but as Joe is already favourite to win, with a great performance I doubt that will change. Robbie definatly has the largest fanbase and appeals to a much wider range of ages to Michael and George but Olly is the least favourite to win. I still think Joe will win easily with a great performance of Don't Let The Sun go down on Me. George may have alot of problems but he can still belt out a tune very well which is all Joe needs as he is the most popular contestent. Olly will prob be second now though. I wonder if we will find out the duet songs by Saturday?

I am really hoping Michael Buble is telling the truth about touring in Germany, but Simon is just using him as a scapegoat sorta thing, to make it more of a surprise about who she is really duetting with! But that's just wishful thinking :(

^ Yep Louis just said that on Irish TV. He also confirmed Macca will be on as well. Not sure about Rob and Olly doing Angels, Id perfer it to be something upbeat to enable an energetic performance. Considering Kylie has sung Kids with Dannii in the past I think it would be a good choice for two males, although I supose Angels is the obvious choice and I am sure Simon insisted on it :lol:

Rock DJ has been performed twice by Jedward though and doesnt involve much singing. Forgot about Supreme. That would be perfect. Simon probably indisted ont he predictable option though. I assume Olly will have to sing the first chorus anyway, as I doubt Robbie will appear on stage until the second verse. Same with the others. I bet Stacey will do What A Wonderufl world with Michael Buble as she sang that in her audition and he has covered it as far as I know.

I think we just have to wait to see who Dermot says on the night tbh.

 

I don't think the duets will be that much of a difference in the final result as they will be on Saturday and the final results on the Sunday. Also I wouldn't be surprised if by biggest final ever he means loads of guest stars because 4 hours is a lot of time to fill.
