Posted December 12, 200915 yr I've just seen on the Release Schedule that 'Dance Little Liar' is going to be the third single from 'Humbug' and will be out Feb 1st. hf-B3Y3B0TQ I think it's a brilliant song, definitely my favourite from 'Humbug' but I can't help thinking that they should've released 'Pretty Visitors' instead, because if anything could save the album, it would be that. If 'Cornerstone' can only just crack the top 100 (at #94), I can't see 'Dance Little Liar' even doing that. :( What are your thoughts on choosing this as the next single?
December 12, 200915 yr Unless it gets used in an advert of gets exposure somewhere on a TV show then I can't see it doing anything at all. In terms on generating sales I think the Humbug era is pretty much dead.

December 18, 200915 yr i dont think they have sales or chart positions in their minds... they prefer to show their musical progression and "dance little liar" is a good choice. not exactly single stuff but that s what happens with great bands.its not only about catchy singles. releasing that kind of song as a single seems to me as a start of new era for the band...much more interesting
February 1, 201015 yr Arctic Monkeys have announced that they will release 'My Propeller' as the third single from latest album Humbug. The track will be released on March 22 and will be available on 7" and 10" featuring three brand new songs - 'Joining The Dots', 'The Afternoon's Hat' and 'Don't Forget Whose Legs You're On'. The 10" of 'My Propeller' will be available exclusively through Oxfam's network of UK shops. Arctic Monkeys also announced that they will perform at The Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust's 10th anniversary series of concerts on March 27. ??
February 1, 201015 yr I was wondering why I was hearing My Propeller so much recently :lol: MUCH better choice but I still think it should have been Pretty Visitors tbh.
February 3, 201015 yr I think it's the perfect choice really. My Propeller is such a tune. :wub: Would have liked to have seen Pretty Visitors released though. This era is pretty much dead now though...
