Not that I have an objection to Eledan winning :wub:! the song's good but I echo Tyron really - Ellie is unavoidable at the moment - obviously you weren't to know and BJSCXXII had a huge gap since the last and I know you were always going to send it... it's in no way a personal dig at your choice, I know how much you love the song - moreso I'm commenting on the trend of EVERY winner we have these days being something on the receiving end of some internet or media hype and then everyone being completely uninterested in them when the hype dies...whereas nearly all of our second placed songs tend to be the complete opposite

Actually I think the Ellie hype was fairly obvious. I've predicted her to top the Sound of 2010 poll since she was signed to Polydor way back in July/August. Can't remember exactly when.
