Re: Christmas TOTP, although it's often the act's biggest hit of the year performed, it's not always the case. PCD performed I Hate This Part on last year's show.

And since there is a Christmas special as well as a New Year's special, the act's may perform their biggest hit of the year on one and their latest single on the other show.

Though last year they had both and repeated some performances, both were filmed on the same day.

will mumford and sons sell enough to make the top 40 or is the version at no33 the only version in the chart?would also love to see bob dylan top 40!!
I do not have Bad Romance but will buy it now-start pestering anyone you know to get it as well-she is more deserving-2009 was definately her year.

Maybe Alexandra will perform both Bad Boys/Broken heels ?

I know that JLS are doing Beat Again & Everybody in Love.. but thats probably because they got number 1s with both of those songs

Mumford & Sons for top 40 this week - they need it, such a beautiful song, and while not technically an Xmas song, fits the Xmas spirit perfectly

it will hopefully be an xmas classic in time.

its at no33 in the itunes chart - is that enough for a top 40 place?

At least when KITN falls, Broken Heels, Ego and other's will climb. :D

Happy to see Joe back to #1 on ITUNES! :D

At least he will be getting the number one this week.

RAGE AGAINST GAGA'S CLIMB.
fair play to joe for his no1 but people will only remember the fact he was the first xfactor winner not to get the xmas no1!!
So.... it's looking very possible Joe could miss out on number 1 in the download chart for a second week running, no?
fair play to joe for his no1 but people will only remember the fact he was the first xfactor winner not to get the xmas no1!!

That is if he's remembered at all - everyone has already forgotten about Steve Brookstein who missed Xmas #1 (but fair play to him I suppose, he wasn't actually released on Xmas week)
