This has been 100% confirmed to work, as long as you enter only ONE PIN and buy the five tracks ONCE ONLY... 5 free counted sales. Do it if you haven't already ^_^ But if you download it for free, then Shelter wont get anything..... I cant see RATM approving of this....
December 19, 200915 yr By the way, why did the thread in Chart Chat get shut down.... The little Joe-supporting corporate ****** couldn't handle a heated debate....??
December 19, 200915 yr But if you download it for free, then Shelter wont get anything..... I cant see RATM approving of this.... I know that... but it's still free and it still helps Rage get to #1. I'm not trying to discourage people from paying for the track, just buy some paid copies and get 5 extra ones for free is all ;)

I'm not trying to discourage people from paying for the track, just buy some paid copies and get 5 extra ones for free is all ;) TBH mate, it was actually things such as that which made me suspicious as to the campaign in the first place.... As a Rage fan, I really dont like that all these bloody Corporations are horning in on the music... And it's something which I'm sure would p!ss the band off no end as well because it's the very thing they've always been against.....
December 19, 200915 yr All the Facebook groups have come together for a mass download at 1pm. COME ON RAGE.
December 19, 200915 yr Really hope they can do it now, and I actually don't like the RATM song at all, tempted to buy it myself... hmm
December 19, 200915 yr DOes the live version on iTunes count towards the sales of it? Yep :D There's also a way to get a free download from 7 digital which counts, so in theory every can get 6 sales towards the chart for free.
December 19, 200915 yr I've decided to buy it now because Joe McNo-hoper dissing RATM in The Scum has just totally p!ssed me off..... "Fukk YOU!! You did what Cowell told ya" I want this litte tw@t's career over....NOW!!!!
December 19, 200915 yr I've decided to buy it now because Joe McNo-hoper dissing RATM in The Scum has just totally p!ssed me off..... "Fukk YOU!! You did what Cowell told ya" I want this litte tw@t's career over....NOW!!!! Just read this article and I had to LOL at the little twat. Here's his 'insight' for anyone who hasn't seen it: MUSIC history was made in the Bizarre office yesterday - when X Factor winner JOE McELDERRY had a first ever listen to his chart nemesis. Joe heard RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE track Killing In The Name - currently beating his song The Climb in the race for Christmas No1 - as he guest edited today's Bizarre column. Geordie lad Joe was sickened by the heavy rock tune which is littered with f-words. He said: "They can't be serious! I had no idea what it sounded like. It's dreadful and I hate it. How could anyone enjoy this? Can you imagine the grandmas hearing this over Christmas lunch? "I wouldn't buy it. It's a nought out of ten from me. Simon Cowell wouldn't like it. They wouldn't get through to boot camp on The X Factor - they're just shouting." It turns out Joe is a sensitive lad and is really upset by the Facebook campaign urging people to download RATM's track to stop him getting to No1. He took his frustrations out by slinging darts at a picture of Rage frontman ZACK DE LA ROCHA. Joe understands why the campaign has captured the public's imagination - Killing In The Name could be the first non-X Factor Christmas No1 since 2004 - and he is trying not to take it personally. He said: "I think people are jumping on this to have a go at Simon and The X Factor rather than me. But Simon gives people a shot." Sales figures yesterday showed Rage were still ahead of Joe in the Christmas scramble. They have sold 306,000 to Joe's 297,000. One theory is that if the weather is good today, people will get to the shops to buy The Climb on CD. But if it is bad that will benefit Rage, who are on download only. Joe added: "I will be really disappointed if it doesn't go to No1 after all the effort I've put in to this and winning the show." Talk about missing the point LOL!
December 19, 200915 yr On a number of occasions a photo has ended many a famous person's career..... surely this could easily be another example of that: http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00951/SNF19BIZAN-280_951687a.jpg
December 19, 200915 yr Oh Joe. :( That photo has quite obviously been photoshopped by The Sun which doesn't suprise me at all, but everything he's saying just seems like it's scripted from team SyCo. He's just a pawn on the chess board and I don't think he understand what he's saying.

Either way, he has NO place in music..... -_- Christ, even Kelly Clarkson was more "man" than he is.... She didn't just "do what Cowell told her"... Watch this and LEARN WHAT MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT..... xRkA6zugNMQ
December 19, 200915 yr Ugh, I actually thought Joe was a decent person and the campaign was never aimed at him, but after that he just seems like an utter twat. His arrogance as well in the final line "Joe added: "I will be really disappointed if it doesn't go to No1 after all the effort I've put in to this and winning the show."" Bought the live version off of itunes as well now.
December 19, 200915 yr Oh, and as of 11am today we are only 11k behind Joe, we're catching up! From Twitter: Updated Midweeks RATM 366567 X-FACTOR 377195
December 19, 200915 yr I wonder if The Sun printed that just to get everyone to download rage more...? Seems unlikely but they must have considered the effect
December 19, 200915 yr Surely his arrogance is not his own though, he's probably just repeating what he's had said to him many times from Cowell & Co. History has taught us that Mr Cowell soon loses interest in acts if they are not instantly successful and Joe will know that there's a fair chance that his career will effectively be over should Simon end up viewing him as a failure, I do sort of feel sorry for him.
December 19, 200915 yr all the effort he has put in, is he serious? the X-Factor is the easy ride to success (for at least a short period of time anyways) what a joke. c'mon Rage!
