THIS. A while ago I used to respect the BRITS but now I think it's all one massive joke

I wish they would bring back the award for best international breakthrough act.Lady gaga would be a shoo-in for that.

I'm afraid I have to disagree. The Brits mean didly-squat at all to music appreciation. They're the mirror image of TV s'Inside Soap' awards.

Well, it's the most hyped awarding music ceremony of the year, so of course it is important IMO.

And anyway we always get some cool performances, so what's wrong with that :)

I never really pay any attention to the Brits at all :l.

Well they did nominate Jamie T in 2007 when they could have just as easily nominated Calvin Harris or Dizzee Rascal so that could be the wild card. I for some reason think that they will nominate either Mumford and Sons, White Lies or The Noisettes in British Breakthrough
