Don't think he had any option. I was blocking the road. He couldn't get any of his farm vehicles past me

It's so weird. It's been snowing here since about 3am but at Chez Jupsyville it turned to sleet about 5pm and the roads were reasonably ok. So tonight I decided to drive up to my cousin's house. She's only about 2 miles away. But I only got about a half mile out my village and it was like crossing into a different world. Road was absolutely awful. And I couldn't do a 3 point turn because it's so narrow. So I had to go on. Then I came to the hill and my wheels just spun. <_< Couldn't get any grip at all.

Think it's cleared now though. Still got a lot of lying snow here but the worst of it has moved to the North of Scotland.

I just saw them Biggie

I really hate snow now, it was fun at first.

In Sainsburys car park there is still a huge pile at the side left over from Christmas

I can't tell you the last time I saw snow.....

I did see on the news here the other day, though, where someone built a snowman more than 4.5 metres tall, in their front yard.....

I need to disappear too. Haven't even dried my hair yet and Beddybyes beckons.

I'm working late tomorrow night so won't be on-line till Friday.

Saw 'The Lovely Bones' this evening - a VERY odd film to say the least - but enjoyable and extremly well made by Peter Jackson. Fantastic performance from Stanly Tucci as the serial killer, a deserved win for Best Actor at the Oscars if Jeff Bridges doesnt get it. How on EARTH is it 12PG though? It would be madness to bring any 12 year old to see it

I've read the book. Probably go see the film next week.

Anyone seen Sky News tonight?

I don't have access to Sky News......

Count yourself lucky. This annoying child keeps popping up resplendent in makeup and squawking that she wants to be like Victoria Beckham. I'm almost at the stage of putting a brick through my telly. :puke2:

I try to avoid Sky News - the less of airheads such as Kay Burley and vile people like Kelvin McKenzie the better

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are on Wossy tonight - should be good :cheer:

Ah yes. Good old Kelvin. The Man who loves all us Celts.

Waiting for Wossy as we speak :w00t:

Johnny

Easy there, Jups.....you might make a puddle.....

We have to wait till 11.15 here to watch it

I wish Robert De Niro did interviews like Wossy as he has a new film out today. Would've been ace :smoke:
