The tree surgeon has been today and chopped down the big plane tree that's been interfering with my connection. Tbh I felt rather sad seeing it disappear. 57 years old it was :(

 

The tree surgeon said there was no option. He said if he cut it back it would grow back ten times as fast. He said it was too big a tree for where it was and too close to the house. Its roots were coming up through my garden.

 

Shame though. I got rather sentimental seeing it go. :cry: :cry: :cry:
