Congratulations to Xanaga who get their debut BJSC related victory.

the winner is not that great for me but LOVE second place, I've always hated Walking In The Air because of Aled Jones but I absolutely love the Nightwish version - it was always meant to be a gothic classic I think :wub:

 

I think most if not all of the indie xmas songs in this contest were rated 5/10 or below for me - they all really depressed me which is not what I look for personally in a xmas song :lol:

I think coming last was quite an achievement considering the patchy standard of many of the entries.

 

........ and Nightwish woz robbed I tells ya....

Thanks for all the hard work Phil, a predictable result though and I didn't find many new christmas songs I liked at all :P

I really like her & her music, but Christmas Tree is worse than EVERYTHING off her Fame Monster album IMHO.

I spend a few hours preparing so it's all copy paste from word.

 

Same with TBO.

 

Thats why the deadline is 11:59pm the day before results.

I was surprised to love it so much - I do like some rock/gothic music - it just has to click with me - I actually downloaded it from iTunes, the only brilliant discovery (as in that I'll be listening to it every xmas for years to come) I made here

That GaGa song was the one I meant with worst song entered into a contest since I participate. :/ But grats anyway. :D

 

And Botanikka and Eledan being so low is a crime as well! Land Of Jack, Utopia and Nickodonia all did reasonably well so it's not all bad but still. :x
