Posted December 31, 200915 yr Nightshift – 7 Guys, 1 Girl (feat. Mutya Buena, Megaman, DJ Ironik, Sisqo, Tanto Metro, Devonte, TQ, Steelo, Juxci D) Quite the line-up, isn’t it? This Nightshift single was played on 27 November on Kiss 100, and apparently it’s a remix of Pitbull – Calle Ocho. I’m trying my best to track it down so everyone can hear it. In the meantime, you can check out the original, and cross your fingers that Mutya is secretly still recording her upcoming sophomore album, and that it will have more of this. January 1, 201015 yr What the hell. :mellow: How can ANYONE champion this? It's god-awful. I knew she was pretty much a non-entity now, but I didn't think she was washed up enough to resort to something as cheap and nasty as this. What a shame.
January 1, 201015 yr Those Nightshift guys did a very lazy job remixing 'I Know You Want Me'. The backing track is the same as in 'Calle Ocho'. If this song had been new, it would have been interesting and its release - exciting, but the song is over and it has peaked at #4 last year. Working with GOOD producers and artists. I've seen interviews where pretty popular/credible artists/producers would like to work with her. I don't know what she's playing at, but making crappy music like this is just ruining her credibility.

Yeah, I will admit that this is far from her best and you're probably right when you say she should work with better people and such. But stangely, I actully love this. Her voice is just too good on this track for me *not* to like it! :kink:
January 1, 201015 yr In all seriousness, she has a good voice but she's really ruining her credibility by doing things like this. I'd like to see her take a break for a while and in that time write a really good album and work with some good producers and artists and then come back out next year.
