January 4, 201016 yr The Sales from the current UK Charts - 3rd January, (W/E 9th January), are for 2009. The OCC have told me, today. The first Chart of 2010, will be that of Sunday 10th - for W/E 16th January. Here is what The OCC said:, 'You are right in that 2009 was a 53 week year (the last 53 week year was 2004). So the last chart of 2009 was the chart released yesterday and valid up to this coming Saturday. It follows that the sales period covered by the last chart of 2009 was Sunday 27th Dec to Jan 2nd. The first chart of 2010 will be the chart broadcast this Sunday Jan 10th'.

January 4, 201016 yr Hurray for WILL!!! yes i did not see his the hits album can do such a GREAT job... love WILL...:D and great to start 2010 with Lady Gaga right? hehehe she did top my chart three weeks ago :D and have been staying there anyway...shock at Paolo...I so wish Gaga can get to the top this week for both single and album chart... :o
January 6, 201016 yr Personally I think Want is an awful album it's not even an album is pure carnage. I preview it on iTunes and it was just $hit but I think it will climb next week (unfortunately). <_<
January 7, 201016 yr I think the reason is they mixed it up with the studio The Circus (as I'm pretty sure I didn't see that in any midweek chart and it also wasn't in Dave's 'Almost Saturday' chart - which did show BW in the top 30). I doubt BW was anywhere at all in the midweeks - low price or not. Norma Beautiful World was in the midweeks. It ended up not being accounted for in the Top 200 altogether because it was made a Budget album for the first time. It's #1 on the budget albums this week. Budget Album Top 3 01 (NE) Take That - Beautiful World (1 week) 02 (01) Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine (22 weeks) 03 (RE) Girls Aloud - The Sound Of Girls Aloud Greatest Hits (7 weeks) I'm annoyed that GA's GH has been budgeted again. Possibly Top 75 this week if it hadn't have been budgeted.
January 7, 201016 yr Ah, I see, RATM are budget! I wonder where they'd have charted had they not been budget?
