I love this, walks allover bad romance, its just a quality track, doesnt try too hard like BR does.

To be honest, I don't think Owl City will get to #1. It isn't right for the British audience imo. And if it does it'd be purely from the hype.

Jls 2 Number 1..i bet when the single come out there are gonna be on every tv show like Eil and Ba

i don't see JLS going number one at all. too many people have bought the album and the x factor hype has died down... that is the reason EIL went to #1

 

But lodes more people have bought lady gaga album though aso both of them have a shot but by the looks of it gaga is in the lead but jls forum is gonna buy lodes of copies so it get to nimber 1 thats what they dont with the singles and albums..But im gonna buy one shot on a cd from hmv..Hope you get a free poster 2 :wub:

I like Telephone, but still my faves are Dance In The Dark, Alejandro. However, Telephone is much stronger than that awful Video Phone. B)

It's great, I love it. I think it will reach no.1 eventually, defo top 5 anyway.

Now that Owl City has apparently been confirmed to be releasing digitally right at the start of February, I could see this having a shot at #1 with a good video and decent promo! ^_^

 

Interesting that she's had 3 #1s and none of them débuted there - JD climbed 3-1, PF went 30-26-28-24-22-15-3-3-4-1 and BR went 14-10-11-8-5-3-1.

Like this bit it should have been 'Dance in the Dark' - Telephone will peak around 7 i think!

my point exactly. lady gaga's songs are climbers. she doesn't generally sell singles based on hype, but by increasing popularity.

point taken, but consider this...

before the release of TFM, the fame had sold just under 1,000,000 units. including TFM, it is now up to over 1,300,000 units. in other words, the re-release of the fame (which *includes* telephone) has only been purchased by around 400,000 people, while JLS is 1,000,000. plus, i reckon beyonce fans will buy telephone coz she's in it =)

They can perform this anywhere they choose, because no one will ever turn them down. Certain #1 at some point. If not, it will still be a huge seller.

i just keep wondering why so many people are assuming owl city will go straight to number one... they haven't even had any airplay yet and, as far as i am aware, all the hype has been on internet forums. i've heard it once on the radio... on the radio 1 review show. it got 29% :lol: it isn't a great song and i don't see why everyone is making the assumption that the british public will love it...

I love this song but I do love Bad Romance more though but I love every Lady Gaga song. :kink: She's truly the queen of Pop. I heard her and Beyoncé are shooting the video for this song either this week or next week. I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE VIDEO! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: This is Gaga's video it's surely gonna be crazy. i like it but i think its her weakest single to date and beyonce ruins the song, gaga is far more superior then her in every way
