I give up with this show now, what with the terrible recent winners (at least compared to the runners up) and Simon going. Final nail in the coffin for me. If Lee manages a sustained career I'll be shocked.

Crystal was perfect.

But once again the singer in 2nd place will have the better and longer lasting career.

It also shows US have no musical taste.

 

Don't think i'll watch next year.

I don't think AI will last anyway, it'll go the same way as Pop Idol - to be replaced by US X Factor. Maybe they'll find bigger stars, as the Idol winners since Carrie did nothing compared to her and Kelly. Jordin maybe, none of the others. Anyway, Crystal's Up to the Mountain is gorgeous :wub:

On the night, Crystal NAILED every performances. Of COURSE Lee was the winner, look at the ratio of men to women nearer the end. Americans can't differentiate between talent and OMG I LOVE HIM I WANT TO KISS HIM AND MARRY HIM.

 

Just look at Justin Bieber for an example. -_-

Siobhan or Crystal shoulda won, but obvs that wasn't gonna happen,AI is $h!te these days anyway, just boring.

I thought they were both as boring as each other tbh. They both just done the same thing practically every single week, same with Casey. It was definitely a very poor season but the finale was entertaining enough.

Anyone notice how the favourite hasnt won since Jordin Sparks- same thing happened with David Archuleta and Adam Lambert

 

I think thats the end for this show- havent watched it in ages, and with Simon leaving, that is well and truly it
