March 13, 201015 yr Whats wrong with this picture? http://thetvaddict.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/graphs.jpg The fact that it doesn't account for the cost of production, the ratings share, the advertising draw or the 18-49 age range demographic figures?
March 13, 201015 yr I think it's more the fact that Gossip Girl is CW's "signature" show and that they would use that show as inspiration for new ones...
March 13, 201015 yr Author The fact that it doesn't account for the cost of production, the ratings share, the advertising draw or the 18-49 age range demographic figures? not the point that the picture was trying to make but yes.
March 18, 201015 yr Author You gotta love Ostroff and the crazy justifications she uses to skirt over her network's $h!tty viewing figures. '1.6 million fans on Facebook' Classic. :heehee: It seems she might be telling the truth :o http://othtwitterbugs.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/P3098469-300x225.jpg
March 18, 201015 yr The fact that it doesn't account for the cost of production, the ratings share, the advertising draw or the 18-49 age range demographic figures? Or perhaps the fact that the picture shows viewing figures from a single episode and not a season average.
May 13, 201015 yr Author Bumping this up seeing as the upfronts are next week... ive heard Law and Order has been cancelled and for the CW its between OTH and LUX with OTH having the upper hand via campaigns but LUX costing less money..
May 13, 201015 yr I really thought LUX was going to be a surprise/cult sort of hit a la Gilmore Girls. It looked that way at first. Joao is there any news on Medium? Will you post about it when they confirm what's happening to it?
May 14, 201015 yr According to Ent. Weekly: Axed: Flash Forward  Law & Order Scrubs Romantically Challenged Better Of Ted Renewed: V Chuck
May 14, 201015 yr Loads of shows have been picked up too :D The Undercovers from J.J Abrams sounds pretty cool. Not too keen on the rest so far. Rumours are that Heroes has FINALLY been shelved but nothing official has been confirmed. Jark - Medium's fate will be known by next week at the latest when all the networks reveal their schedules for September. Edited May 14, 201015 yr by GrAmii
May 14, 201015 yr According to Ent. Weekly: Axed: Flash Forward  Law & Order Scrubs Romantically Challenged Better Of Ted Renewed: V Chuck The way FlashForward has dived in the ratings, no way it was getting a renewal :(
May 14, 201015 yr V got picked up, so no chance of Flash Forward getting picked up at all. NBC have got a pilot caled The Event. Looks swish.
May 14, 201015 yr There is a new series called The Cape with Summer Glau (Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles) in the lead, which looks pretty good.
May 14, 201015 yr Heroes is finished for good :kink: http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/05/14/no-la...ed-by-nbc/51461 Even if they hadn't renewed V, I'd have still booted FF anyway..
May 14, 201015 yr lol i'm kind of glad Heroes was cancelled. I've watched it since the beginning but I wouldn't stand another season.
May 14, 201015 yr lol i'm kind of glad Heroes was cancelled. I've watched it since the beginning but I wouldn't stand another season. The writer's strike ruined it imo. It's 2nd season onwards was just dreadful. I feel Supernatural may be the next show I stop watching due to it being so poor :(
May 14, 201015 yr Not too bothered about "Heroes". I have the first two seasons on DVD, and I really like them, but I got a bit bored half-way through season three, and I haven't been watching season four. Since "Ugly Betty" has already been axed, "Glee", "Desperate Housewives" & "How I Met Your Mother" are the only US shows I care about at the moment, plus their version of "Big Brother".
May 16, 201015 yr Author Latest from Ausiello Warning: The following info is purely speculative and should by no means be taken as gospel. We’re heading into upfront week, people, and rumors are flying fast and furious. Here’s what some of the loudest chatter is centered on… * The CW is said to be strongly considering renewing both One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected for 12 episodes apiece. Among new shows, the Nikita reboot is a lock, Scott Porter’s Nomads is flirting with a possible midseason order, and ASP’s The Wyoming Project is… generating absolutely no buzz. * Barring an eleventh-hour about-face, NBC will be bringing Chuck back for a fourth season. THIS JUST IN: It’s official!
May 16, 201015 yr The CW better pick up Changlings/Betwixt! That's the only one of their new pilots I give a damn for. It's just screaming to be new time-slot BFFs with The Vampire Diaries. Edited May 16, 201015 yr by GrAmii
