January 12, 201016 yr I know!! I usually see your prediction when I come to post mine and was wondering where you were this week! Still living in Sunday apparently. :( Anyway, glad to see Alexandra top 10, I was thinking it'd end up missing the top 10 completely. Glad to see Alicia Keys doing so well too, putting part 2 of "Empire State Of Mind" on her album seems to have done her some favours. It's not a single, but it's selling itself (down to being the more radio friendly version) and probably the album too. Hopefully this will pave the way for her to have a more successful era than the last album with her singles here.
January 12, 201016 yr I think this could be Alicia's most successful era definitely! I can't see how Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart and Put It In A Love song won't both end up being massive hits.... in the past I've tended to like Alicia's lead singles and then with each release the quality gradually tails off...this era however I think she has quite a few smash hits on the album
January 12, 201016 yr Although I don't like Iyaz's song, I hope that number one's this year have more longevity at the top then last year. 2007 and 2008 had many multiple week number ones, which makes the tend of one week number ones of last year all the more Bizarre. Bad Romace is at number 6? It is likely to pass out Just Dance sales wise Edited January 12, 201016 yr by Celestial

January 12, 201016 yr Looks like a second week for Iyaz, and a No3 debut for Owl City. Excellent to see Delphic's brilliant Acolyte in the top10; hopefully it won't have fallen, too much, by the time we get to Sunday. :)
January 12, 201016 yr Are Placebo still near the Top 40? Placebo are like out of the top 100 on iTunes now unfortunately, it'll be completely out of the top 75. :(
January 12, 201016 yr shocked at what Journey has done so far...that's very well...they should thank Cheryl and Joe hahaha :D anyway all the best to OWL CITY...love his music...FIREFLIES is actually the best among the songs came out lately... really shocked when i first listened to it a few weeks ago when i was attracted to give it a go after seeing the album cover of it on youtube... :P I absolutely love it...wish it can top the chart for a few weeks... by the way...why the sales seem very low on the first day??? January 12, 201016 yr Are Placebo still near the Top 40? They're not in the top 40. Have take that any top 40 position in the album chart? TC 20 + 11
January 12, 201016 yr That's me out of here for the rest of today - if anyone has any other queries, hopefully another chart mod will be around to take the requests, if not, I'll recap tomorrow.
January 12, 201016 yr SuBo's album has been heavily discounted to £5.99 at hmv - could see it surge back up the charts, unfortunately
January 12, 201016 yr I heard the Glee Cast version of 'Don't Stop Believing' months ago when it was top 10 in Australia (listened on YouTube out of interest) and I prefer their version to Journey. That said, I've still yet to see this programme. Oh, and I'll  if Paolo Nutini ends up no. 1 on Sunday again but Florence & The Machine really do deserve that week at no. 1 now - three tracks inside the top 75 from a six month old album is impressive considering 'Rabbit Heart' wasn't as big as I'd hoped it would be. :( Edited January 12, 201016 yr by Hitstastic
January 12, 201016 yr I think Iyaz will get a second week. He has physicals and downloads on his side. Vampire Weekend will be number 1 in the albums chart. Iyaz has physical copies of his single? i cant find any
