Nearly 3 million single sales in year for GaGa!! :o
well she had released 5 singles. I think BEP have a more impressive total considering only 3 releases.
sales of previous singles and album tracks can count aswell, not just singles released this year. BEP's 2009 singles add up to just over 2 million the other 200,000 is album tracks/ older singles.

Thanks

750k FFTL, 190k 3 Words, so she had to sell 70k other songs.

Flo Ruida above take That :o
Thanks

possible credit on Heartbreaker?

Also, interesting to see Muse's catalogue selling well.

Michael Jackson and Lady GaGa rightfully near the top of both ^_^
Balck eyed peas did great which im happy with and Take That also did brilliant considering there last studio album came out in 2008 and sold massively in 2008 aswell.
How did the Saturdays sell that many singles this year?
They have many singles: "Issues" "Just Can't Get Enough" "Work" "Forever Is Over" "Ego"

You probably have right I forgot about Heartbreaker.

Eminem selling over 950k with singles? He only had 3 right? Crack A Bottle, We Made You and Beautiful. Good stuff, Em.

Prodigy and Muse did well in albums as well.

He only had 3 'proper' singles but he also entered the top 75 with Lose Yourself (can't remember why, but it went back to #67), 3am, Old Time's Sake (these 2 were promo singles) and 'Till I Collapse (Modern Warfare 2 theme, random choice). I assume sales also include 'Forever' by Drake ft. Kanye, Lil Wayne and Eminem. So 3 singles, but 8 top 75 entries in the year, plus his back catalogue and random album tracks from Relapse and Relapse Refill, some of which went top 200.

Oooh, I was wondering why Lose Yourself and Till I Collapse were in there

Good stuff Em, but with 3 singles like those I'd expect more....Beautiful should've charted much much higher.

What were the sales of Beautiful if anyone knows?

The list includes their back catalogue as well though.

Their 3 single total stands at 2,033,450

Flo Ruida above take That :o

I'm well pleased with Take That's singles sales tally! All that and the highest placed single they had was #9 and for one week only. Most of that figure must be from their older stuff - RTW and good sales from 'poorly placed in comparison' singles like Up All Night. I'd love to have a breakdown of where that figure is coming from.
