Posted January 16, 201015 yr Lemar was once a big R&B star, picking up mobos here and there, but his chart success in recent times seems to be lagging but he is back with a brand new dancy sound. The Way Love Goes is not completely far away from his previous efforts but is more contemporary and I think it has a big chance of being a top 10 hit for Lemar. If you haven't heard the new single listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfdS4m0--nA Get predicting! Edited January 16, 201015 yr by trunkman
January 16, 201015 yr I heard this and really impressed as it's quite an instant radio friendly track. I might be overestimating this getting to no. 1 so I'm going to predict top 5.
January 16, 201015 yr I agree with Hitstatic but I don't think it will be number 1, but top 10 for sure. Actually I've voted for top 5 :kink:
January 16, 201015 yr I'll go with top 20. It's by far my favourite song by Lemar to date but I dont know if he's still able to get top 10's anymore frankly :(
January 16, 201015 yr I voted top 20, i think Lemar is a great artist, but cant remember the last time he was in the top 10 with a song. A lot more radio friendly then some of his other previous singles i suppose.

I don't even remember how some of his last few singles went to be honest (without going on YouTube) whereas this new single is more memorable after one listen. January 16, 201015 yr This will be a shock hit I think/hope. I went for Top 5 actually. I really wish him the best though as it's bloody amazing. Easily his best ever single imo. He's quite underrated as an artist too...
January 16, 201015 yr He's the male Beverley Knight. Songs which you quite like and which you might listen to when they come on on the radio, but which just don't provoke a strong enough reaction to actually buy. If There's Any Justice and It's Not That Easy were definitely more liked than their chart runs indicate, but the problem was people didn't like them *enough* to buy them. And, even though this song is meant to be some radicial new direction, there's still something about it that's so middle-of-the-road and safe. Like a lot of his other songs, I can imagine it being a grower and becoming another "nice" song, and it might do OK-ish chart-wise (#10-15), but I don't expect much more than that. January 17, 201015 yr Sounds quite good, good to see hes sticking with the dance formula I can see it going top 20/low top 10, probably a similar run to 'If she knew'
