Tries to think of potential loopholes that needs clarification as to whether they are allowed or not:

 

1. What about demos/remixes/live/alternative versions of any tracks from the current album of an artist with an ACTIVE (i.e., not archived) Artist Forum on BuzzJack?

 

2. Should, during the progress of a contest, your entry/its video end up on any of the following charts/lists, your track will be disqualified with immediate effect: What are the cut off dates/times? (Is it before the Semi Finals are started; the Final is started or can it even be up until 5PM of the Sunday a minute before voting in the Final closes that a song could still be DSQ'd?)

 

 

 

 

Entries i fancy to send in the future are usually the ones that other people aren't interested in :nocheer:

 

The same for me......and maybe this is naive of me but I'd hope nobody would see a song I was thinking of sending and blatantly steal it right from under me.....

It was, there used to be a time when people nearly hadn't a clue who was going to win it and usually only had inklings which were often wrong.

The Demo of I Could Say couldn't be entered until one year after the last single release date from It's Not Me, It's You.

 

Any demo not related to the INM,IY era is fair game. So a very early leak of a new track [Like The Fear] would ok.

Exactly - and herein lies the major issue with this rule. People's definitions of cheap are totally different, and it doesn't always avert cheap..

Can you imagine how much hype Glee is experiencing at the moment? Glad Don't Stop Believing has been entered before it hit the UK otherwise it'd have landslided and beat Silly Boy's record twice :lol: Almost any song from there will at least qualify from the final.

Dosn't half of the people on Buzzjack have "Glee" in their nickname atm? :lol:

But if mods can just pluck random TV shows and ban all songs from those too I should it's becoming all very dictatorial. They might as well give us a list of songs we CAN use.

I agree. You can't ban everything that is cheap or uninspired especially when everyone has a difference in opinions.
