I wonder why you got this plastic overhyped Swedish pop singer in the middle between you and Peter on your avatar? :kink:

*plastic overhyped future Melodifestivalen presenter :o I'll change my picture in March, as soon as I get a picture with either Alcazar or Darin - I hope my celeb hunting doesn't go to waste :heehee:

You sound so confident that you will have a chance to do that :kink:

How do you get that crazy 'like' button to work on facebook?

adds a personal touch I feel :heehee: the world of Facebook and Twitter allowing us to connect to the people we idolise - it's bizarre :o I expect in 5 years it will be completely normal to have a conversation with Britney over the internet :heehee:

Ashton XXIV

Ashton's going for a Risk, Kristiina Brask will be our entry with Kuivilla Susta. It's sung entirely in Finnish and is the first time an Ashtonise entry is sung entirely in a language that isn't english. We hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as Nevio/Cilmi did in XVII :(

 If that's what you want to believe I won't be the one to burst your bubble ^_^

Is definately very nice of her to take time out of her schedule to talk to her fans though - she looks like she does it a lot from that page. Leddra +1

yeah, she seems to reply to every comment - very nice of her

I'm not lying for effect either - Telling Tales really is my favourite album of the year thus far  I must be the only person on Buzzjack who likes an album in 2010 more than Ke$ha's Animal :o

Can you let her know she is #2 in my chart. She would have been #1 but for the pesky Goldfrapp.

And her album is excellent especially A Little Easier & Summer Song.

I prefer Edie and Fooling Myself but those two songs are also in my chart at the moment - absolutely fantastic album - best singer/songwriter album for me in a long time - fantastic new talent, I'm disappointed that she didn't reach any of the hype lists - she doesn't look like she'll have any mainstream success :(

easily my favourite BJSC discovery to date anyway now

We are still very early on in the year however... And you're not the only one, no.

btw 'Made of Glass'

I'm glad I'm hosting this contest as I'd be very tempted to send this:

Gorgeous.

But, as host, I have no excuse but to try and find something inspired.

of course  I'm sure it has lots of great music in store! it'll be hard to top 2009 music wise in my opinion, which was the best in ages overall

Made Of Glass is amazing  how could they leave it as a b-side

2009 was no 2008 imho -_- Here's hoping for more new artists, styles and trends coming to the fore towards the end of the year!

I preferred Giving You Up, it was a little less obvious at the time to the v. v. camp MoG

2008 was good overall but only had 8 or 9 incredible songs for me compared to about 15 last year - electropop is getting a bit overused now though I agree, I'm a bit bored of it to be honest and am listening to other things now...maybe this is why I'm so into Leddra at the moment? I'm longing for something more simple and traditional  I can't believe there is no new 'sound' this year, all of the hyped acts seems like a continuation or the leftovers of 2009...

Giving You Up was good enough and a bit different I suppose, whereas Made Of Glass would have been a more obvious follow up to I Believe In You - but I was disappointed that it wasn't even on any album - it seems wasted as a b-side. She had another great b-side on the Wow single called Do It Again which really should have been on X...

But 2008 was when the electro movement became popular! Maybe less hit singles but more great new artists! i totally agree with the disppointing hyped acts at the moment, they're all a bit *yawn*

 Another outrageously gay Kylie B-Side, for sure it could have made the album but there's no need for her to play up to an already faithful fan base.

2008 was the soul-pop boom, for the first 6-9 months at least! I guess the electro pop started seeping into the mainstream at the back end of the year

 I see what you mean...
