January 28, 201015 yr everyone on avrilbandaids likes this song and so do I and I like her shouting so I feel this album's going to be good A lot of fans can just like anything by an artist no matter what they do though, it's not exactly impartial.
January 28, 201015 yr It's very shouty, and quite agressive. Not sure whether I like it. But this is no way an indication of her album, it's just a track off the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack (which is shaping up to be good!).
January 28, 201015 yr I agree with most other people on here, it is too shouty for me. I cant imagine myself listening to it full blast on the way to work in the morning, it would give me a headache. But i do like the song, maybe i'll just listen to it at a low volume  I hope to hear more rock/angry/deep songs on her new album :D
January 28, 201015 yr I didn't like this at first but I can say now it's grown on me, I think it's fantastic!
January 29, 201015 yr LOVE this. I can see why many don't like the shouting, but I do. ^_^ I do as well and thank god someone else loves this song
January 29, 201015 yr obivously you're not an avril fan then, avril fans will love this I think like me I'm not really an Avril fan, but i love Girlfriend and When You're Gone, this just doesn't appeal to me
February 1, 201015 yr Is the new album really called Pink Crust?? http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a20...lice-clips.html
February 1, 201015 yr Is the new album really called Pink Crust?? http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a20...lice-clips.html  I hope not. It sounds horrible
February 6, 201015 yr I think pop has sadly left Avril Lavigne behind. We've evolved so much from the mid-2000's when the guitar pop of Avril/Kelly Clarkson/Blink 182/McFly were dominating. I just don't think Avril fits in with the Lady GaGas and Rihannas and Beyonces that dominate now. Edited February 6, 201015 yr by Danny
February 6, 201015 yr Not the saving grace for me after she destroyed herself with her half arsed attitude in Manchester :( Hopefully the album will help me fall back in love with her, but if that's the album name oh dear :(
February 23, 201015 yr Does anybody know where/how i can get the mp3 to this? i've had it stuck in my head for two days now but i dont think its on itunes yet to download? :P
February 23, 201015 yr Is it bad that I really really love this song? It reminds me of Under The Skin Avril.
March 5, 201015 yr I think pop has sadly left Avril Lavigne behind. We've evolved so much from the mid-2000's when the guitar pop of Avril/Kelly Clarkson/Blink 182/McFly were dominating. I just don't think Avril fits in with the Lady GaGas and Rihannas and Beyonces that dominate now. Thank GOD she doesn't. The artists named, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Beyonce are all completely talentless. Sorry Lady Gaga is actually a great talent, the other two are complete wasters. 'Alice' is a self-written song by Avril. Her first attempt at writing with no song-writers. I think she's evolved in the right direction unlike the current music industry which is sadly dominated by the likes of Max Martin, Dr. Luke being ghost writers for artists who claim to have talent but are just faces of actual talented song-writers such as Luke, and Max. Avril is definitly going against the grain, and showing that it's cool to be talented. 'Alice' won't make much impact on the industry or the pop scene, her new album though, due to be released in June is getting great reviews and has some of her "best songs" as said by the likes of Rolling Stone and other key reviewers. 6 of the songs are written by her only, and 3 of them produced by her. She's such a talented young lady, and she's a brave and risky artist for taking a stance against these mega pop names that actually have very little talent when it comes to music in general. Here's a live version of 'Alice' on Jay Leno. It's actually better than the studio version. Avril is such a raw talent now, and Im glad that she has moved away from her TBDT image which really was an attempt to fit into today's industry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbtykrNjWao She's now fighting a hard battle against these pop names, but she's Avril Lavigne and UMS was not a pop record and she got two big singles, "Don't Tell Me" and "My Happy Ending" from it, while selling 10 million copies of the CD. Don't underestimate Avril Lavigne lol! It's a big mistake. She'll defo be back in the charts and while she won't sell #1 singles, her album will probably sell twice as much as any of these pop names.
March 6, 201015 yr I'm still trying to envision pink crust... :/ Am looking forward to her ACTUAL return though. 3 solid albums is a good indication even if I do feel as if I have outgrown her style and sound somewhat.
