Hope it's not too long until the video gets added to music channels!

Clubland TV have added 'Alors On Danse' to their playlist.

I just wish they'd remove 'Somebody To Love' by Boogie Pimps. I'm sure they play that video every morning on Clubland TV. (well, it's usually being played when I flick through the music channels). I reckon The Box will add the video this weekend.

More exposure = more sales = more chance of #1 :w00t:

On Radio 1, Scott Mills just said that Stromae sings the English version! :o Poor Erik. :( Surely he'll be featured when it gets released.
#65 in Ireland. :yahoo: It must have got some airplay last night on the late-night 2FM dance sessions or whatever. :D

It's Adamski 'Killer' all over again. Poor Seal never got credited as the main vocalist - the record company at the time probably thought Adamski were a duo. Seal went on to have a successful career as a solo male artist. Maybe the same might happen to Eri Castle...I mean Erik Hassle. :kink:

I do hope it's not the Erik Hassle version that will be played anywhere, I find it really uncomfortable to listen to being so familiar with the original.

And this is coming from one of the 7 people in the country that bought Erik's album on release week :heehee:

Te Quiero is taking off to an extent in France, but hasn't charted anywhere else yet, still most of th world is still on AOD.

Canadian (fr) radio are also now starting play Te Quiero in addition to Aod. Got a cumulative 30 radio spins this past week, compared with Aod's 89 spins.

That's cool. Has AOD basically been and gone in Canada? By the way, it's top 40 on Dave Taylor's Friday Chart :w00t:

Meaning Reggie will egt to take the p*** by saying how bizzare it is or something

That looks promising for it being top 40 on Sunday then. If it is, I hope Reggie introduces the song properly, like saying how huge it is in Europe, getting #1 in loads of countries, and I hope he talks about the youtube story too. I'm getting my hopes up. It's more likely to be "What on Earth is this? I'll skip it and play Justin Bieber."

And Alors on danse has only been promoted in parts of Canada I think (Quebec, etc.), so it might have come and gone in some places, but not the whole country, if I'm correct.

That's right, Alors on danse was popular in Québec. But since Canada is so huge that's the way it is with many songs. For example, Stereo Love was only a hit in central Canada (Ontario, Québec). Of course this isn't reflected in the position in the national chart. We No Speak Americano is also only getting played in Ontario & Québec.

BTW, Stromae's label is not AATW, it's Island if someone doesn't know, as there have been a lot of conversations about it being on AATW.

And congratulations to him on making #41 in the official singles chart this week. :) Keep going Stromae!

Thank goodness! If it was on AATW it would have been whipped off iTunes ages ago and brought back with some dire 1:30 radio edit and released back to iTunes a month after everyone was already fed up with it :heehee:

So true  And then Tim C would tell us it was a huge smash, but underperformed because radio didn't support it... not because of the length or the crap decisions and he's right cause we don't know F all :w00t:

lol. When did this actually happen? Did someone complain to them or something?

Very good stuff :) I had a very strange dream about him the other night actually, I won't go into it here

I really hoped this would go top 40 this week, but it doesn't look likely? Do you think he'll do some TV or something? I know he speaks English...

This was a huuuge hit about a month or two ago here! Was #1 for several weeks!

I read about it in the rate thread but chose not to comment  don't worry, it happens to the best of us.

I doubt it, Edward Maya/Inna etc...didn't promote here so I doubt Stromae would. This song really needs to start making progress on iTunes. Playlisting has kept it stable at least but I really want it to climb now. If it hadn't been c-listed this week I reckon it would be down to about #100 by now :drama:

What day does the playlist come into effect? B-List should definitely get it into the top 40.

And once it charts on the Big Top 40 Show, commercial radio will start playing it too.
