This has been happening to me for few times now. Sometimes, when I post, it doesn't show at the main forum page that the last post was by me.

 

e.g. Cover Game in the UK Chart Chat section, I posted there after Steve evets. It still shows that the last post was by Steve. Then someone posted there (e.g. West in the Reshuffle Chart), it did show.

 

Does this happen to some people too or only on me? If the latter, then the system better stop cheating. :P

how often does this happen? It might happen rarely as the information is cached and then stored in the memory to save on accessing the database for it but strange if its continuing to happen.

I don't know. But it has happened to me for at least 2 or 3 times this January.

I think it's always happened. The chances are you'd never notice and even if you notice it's updated within a minute anyway.

I sometimes got this but this got sorted out because it was my browser's 'fault'. It didn't update the main page, just used the version that was cached. I figured that out due to time difference between BJ and my PC.

That always used to happen with Internet Explorer for me, both FM's and Pavels things. But now I use FireFox and the only problem I have is when i do things like [ b ] [ u ] [ / u ] [ / b ]

 

It always shoots to the top of the post, which is quite annoying when writing long posts but I don't think it's ubiquitous (is that the correct word?) to BuzzJack.

 

 

Also when I edit a post it changes the font colour to black from my default colour.
