Well, Niamh has a cold so her performance was far from perfect last night. :P And we are back to the original backing singers...

I like the remix, but I'm not a clubbing person, so I'll stick to the original. :heehee:

Love the remix  I hope Niamh can get over her cold in time for the contest :(
Great remix i hope it is on the cd single which i hope to purchase monday, ya i hope niamh can get over the flu she has but im sure she will, she performed very well on the late late show considering she has the flu.
Me too, i generally like entries from Norway, but fairytales didnt do anything for me. Now a repeat of the last conest held in norway would be ideal for me,as we recall norway hosted in 1996 and Ireland won, lets hope its a repeat.

I can't decide whether this reminds me more of The Winners Song (particularly the intro although that sounds like every Westlife song too), You Raise Me Up or My Heart Will Go On :kink:

I'm glad to have it in proper HQ though because the version I bought from iTunes the day after Niamh won her NF was surprisingly poor quality, I really should have complained about it actually.

Really? I didn't realise that. Maybe it was the demo version?

Anyone know the tracklist for the CD single btw, or where I can buy it? Will it be released in the UK?

It was released here last Friday(?), but I don't know anything about a UK release. :(

Number 24 in the Irish charts this week giving it a new peak, but it will climb over the next 2-3 weeks, last year Sinead Mulvey and black daisy climbed alot after the semi final was aired.
I doubt Niamh will beat Sinead's peak, unless she finishes Top 5 or something

Wow those are very good odds (for Ireland anyway :P)

I just want to see us qualify first though, it's not as fun when you're looking on from the sidelines. :(

Just added something to my above post. There's a preview in an hour at 00:30am, which is the first part of the countdown, with the second bit airing on Monday night as posted above. :)
