  1. RMI over 50k up on the same day last week - think it’ll easily go back to zero weeks of decline.
  2. I wonder if it’s due to the size of their user base now - they have 55% (average) UK market share and bigger in other countries - probably a lot of data to crunch?

I’ve been saying it for ages - we’re now at the point with decades old songs getting reset and other ‘newer’ songs having 50+ week chart runs. Aside from TikTok it feels like there is nowhere for new artists to promote themselves either. The charts are just a retro chart now.
  4. Definitely going to miss ACR this week as there are other versions too. It may as well try to equal the 18 week record at this point.

^^ Agree. As much as Wonderwall is the end of game anthem I think Three Lions if we win will be everywhere - all over TV and radio so would give them the edge plus they have new physicals this year.
  6. Lewis Capaldi and Sam performed ‘Rein Me In’ at Hyde Park tonight and it’s currently doing the rounds on socials… lots of comments asking for it to be released 👀

It’s had a boost on iTunes (#5 and #180) 1 we’ll see if streaming follows suit! I think it’ll avoid ACR as it registered its lowest sale last week since being at the top so it won’t take much for it to increase.
  8. RMI up 7k compared to same day last week (potentially more with the multiple versions). Ella continuing to poise herself ready to be the next UK #1 🙏🙏🙏
  9. #3 Sam Fender/Olivia Dean - Rein Me In This was down in the 20s, the news coverage around it being #1 for 16 weeks seems to have given it a boost.
  10. Yay - 24k selling #1 incoming
  11. Is this changing the rules to suit the narrative you want? In all ‘longest running’ #1 lists they are listed as total weeks rather than individual runs, Sam & Olivia will be up there with Bryan on said lists regardless and Wham will be along shortly to beat them all.
  12. It dosent even have to be anything mega - it’s not like Olivia/Sam are heavily do weekly promo and performances of it, it’s streams are not ground breaking either - it’s more concerning that nothing else is showing signs of being able to challenge it.
  13. Nobody is ever going to beat that record - different times.
  14. My RMI vinyl has just dispatched - week 17 incoming?
  15. Green Light & Hands for me too 👋🏻
  16. Ella coming for a future #1 🙏 And RMI back up to #2 on Apple, also a big increase week on week yesterday on Spotify - if that continues it’ll swerve ACR this week 👀❤️
  17. It’s actually not terrible - and Nicki French has based her career on wheeling out her dance cover version of it for the past 32 years 🤣
  18. Some Bonnie albums in the Top 40 too - #14 Ravishing - The Best Of Bonnie Tyler #17 Heaven & Hell #19 Faster Than The Speed Of Night #25 Bonnie
  19. Lee Brennan of 911 following in the footsteps of Kerry Katona with a football track 🤣 #25 Lee Brennan - England In America

So sad - I got meet and greet to one of her last UK tours in 2024 and she was so lovely ❤️
  21. I know sales are low etc etc but pleased it’s still holding up on iTunes - currently #10.

He’s won a Silver Clef award and the ceremony is tonight (also on the list of people that will be performing) - could give it a boost. I wouldn’t be surprised if it avoids ACR next week - sales are low at the top so it will not be as difficult for it to register an increase.

Brandon Flowers is in the UK atm promoting his new solo album - on one of his interviews they spoke about Mr Brightside, surely the label can claim that as active promotion for a reset 🤣

It didnt bomb - I know it ‘only’ peaked at #21 but it’s gone triple platinum in the UK, looking at its current certifications the UK is where it’s sold the most.

I think it’ll be a Wonderwall / Three Lions Top 2 if they progress.
