The dvd is out on monday

I think the film isnt as good as the last 3. They mised out to many important bits and the scenes where terrible, and i was excited just to see the end voldamort scene, and i thought it was a complete let down

I disagree, Josh :) I think for sheer cinema, its the best HP film so far. GoF is a huge book, and it should be expected that things should be left out. Even the kids acted well, better than they did in the other films - they were excellent at the Yule Ball scene.

No, I wouldnt think so, I am a huge fan of the books, and very much enjoyed the film. You just need to realise that they will change things and miss stuff out, and you will be fine!

Well in honesty I didn't think the first 3 films done the books any justice at all. Ive heard this one is better though so ill probably watch it :)

You should! Come back and tell us what you think when you have :)

Goblet of Fire is the only HP book I haven't read, and I think it is the best of all the films. I was reluctant to watch it, but amazed at how good it was!
In my poinion its no where near as good as the books. Its still a decent film but they do miss loads out which was to be expexted, but I think they could of added more than one scene with Sirius as he's quite a major charachter in the 5th book.
Well, it does make me wonder just how much of book 5 they will miss out, in the upcoming film. Thats the best book too, I just hope the film lives up to it!

It's one of my fave HP books if not my fave - so I was very critical about it. They cut out way too much important stuff which worries me at how they'll deal with related stories in the 5th and 6th books - like Rita, for instance.

But the effects were fantastic - and they did quite a good job. I'm definitely gonna buy the DVD on Monday!

My fav book is the 4th one and thats why I was disappointed about how much stuff they missed out of it. I found the 5th one went on about 150 pages too long and I found Luna Lovgood the most irritating charachter ever, and they will only put the key points of the 5th book in the book, and I hope make Umbridge really really evil.

She is there, she has been cast (I cant remember the actress playing here atm)

Yeah I heard she was gonna be in it, but i bet she won't have as much screen time as she does in the book. Her along with Sirius are probably two of the most important charachters in that book along with the regular ones like Harry etc.
How could you not have Umbridge in book 5? Without her, you can't have the whole rebellion with Dumbledore's army! She's crucial to the plot!

Well, she is there, so its ok!
