Jack; the explosion and subsequent crash were in the final 5 minutes of tonight's second episode.

 

Watched the crash on YT now. Will try and watch the entire episode(s) on repeat, and watch for the rest of the week.

 

Not watched Corrie in years so I have no idea who this Charlotte is. And I thought it was all to do with the tram crash, I didn't realize that there was an explosion, and then the tram crash...

Loved that ep! I always watch Corrie, but prefer Eastenders. Tonight though Corrie won for me. Amazing episode, can't wait for the rest of the week especially the live ep!

Just thought of something. Molly was on the phone to her dad at the beginning of tonight's eps arranging to go to his later that night. Does he come looking for her when she doesn't appear? Could we see Diggory as a guest on the live ep?

Just watching the repeats and notice Ciaran was complaining to Nick about a lack of gas pressure in his kitchen, so presumably he must be right at the centre of the explosion? Wonder if he is among the dead?

And why did charlotte come up on Jon's mobile as ' J Brodie'? I notice the word 'die' is in there!

I never usually watch Corrie, but that was good, very suspenseful and then it cam full throttle in the last three minutes :o

And they said something in the behind the scenes show about Tracy returning at xmas to get Amy back. Does that mean Steve dies?

Molly tells Sally everything before she dies and Sally takes baby Jack. Also, Ashley dies on Wednesday.

 

The producer, Phil, let something slip tonight on the ITV 2 show. When a caller asked had he had a bad experience with Manchester trams .... he replied

... the tram was the safest place to be. The driver was the only one directly involved in the crash that doesn't die. That says to me that Rita and Molly .... possibly Sunita are dead. Also ... pretty significant that Rita escaped being run over by a tram in Blackpool in the Alan Bradley affair all those years ago ... perhaps only to be caught up by one now!

. I'm sure there could be a bit of a 'nobody' killed too ... perhaps

Can't help thinking that Rita ended up posed very similarly to how she was after the Blackpool Tram near miss.

It was all very confusing to keep up with all in all tonight really.

Thought I would post a summary of who was where to sort my own confusion out and possibly help others to.

I watched the last 15 minutes of corrie tonight, the tram crash in particular was very well done and looked very real.

- I think there are going to be 'follow-on' explosions before the live episode on Thursday. It looks like, in a separate incident

#3- Emily (if she was who phoned Rita)

- I'm fairly sure Emily wasn't the friend calling Rita. Rita was due to meet a friend in town ... I can't see Emily being a 'girl about town' sort of person. Unless of course Rita was going to meet Emily at a church. But then I can't see Rita as a 'church' sort of person. My guess would be that

as Ken and Deirdre are at the Stag/Hen do's respectively, Emily is child-minding Simon.

 

 

6- Anna and Gary, possibly Izzy if she was visiting Gary

Gary features fairly heavily this week - repercussions of Afghanistan

 

 

 

4- Sally, Rosie, Sophie, Sian and Tyrone

According to Thursday's TV guide 'Sally risks all' ... so whoever said before that it is Sally who goes in to help Molly and Jack is probably right. And according to Friday night's guide ... Kevin and Sally spend a dark evening together ... so Molly has probably spilled the beans before dying.

Whatever happens ... it could be fairly chaotic on the live episode. The producer said that 64 cast members are involved in the whole drama. That is a LOT to keep control of.

Kylie must come back in the next day or so. They said she was going to come back and demand more money from Becky and Steve ... but I thought the £20K they gave her a few weeks back would have lasted at least until after the January Sales! If so ... we know what's happened to Max ... he's safe and sound because Kylie has grabbed him for her leverage.
