That was OUTSTANDING. Totally blowing EE and Hollyoaks' fires out of the water.

It does indeed look like Sunita is f***ed :(

Oh and Ken Barlow really is an $h!t actor isn't he?

It does kind of put the rest to shame doesn't it? All of tonight has been brilliant. Oddly enough ... my favourite parts were the Gary bits! The way they juxtaposed it with flashbacks of his tour of duty. Any other soap would have seen him heroically joining in to save other characters ... instead of the reality this chaos would just make him an absolute wreck!

Yes he is. But he knows his limitations ... so he sticks with it! Unlike other soap actors who think they're more than they are ... go off to try the big bad world ... and then come back with their tails between their legs because soapland is the only place that will have them. I admire William Roache for this.

Sunita :( Yet more drama, as expected :o This week is so exciting already, I'm sure I can take much more  I just might die during the live ep, sooo excited!!!!!!

I've been watching the 50 Best Corrie Moments ... but I'm going to miss the final night (Thursday). I'm hoping that the 'best' moment .... will be when Hilda is opening Stans 'effects' from the hospital after his death. I never did get Hilda's appeal .... but this moment was the most tear-jerking from any episode of any soap and Jean Alexander was brilliant.

Back in the days when i was a corrie fan hilda was always my fave, hilda from corrie and dot from eastenders have the same appeal althouhg both are/were both or hate charactors.
I hope to god Sunita isn't dead, it was heartbreaking when they moved that on top of her and she was full of blood. :(

Anyone watching the tram closely would notice the tram used for the crash was a mixture of a real tram and a mock-up (I would imagine the bit where it comes off the viaduct is the mock-up!). The actual tram used was one of Manchester's Metrolink trams and it was fleet number 1015 one of the first phase vehicles and it was specially put in the new yellow and silver livery in a vinyl wrap for the filming - this vinyl wrap was rapidly removed after filming had concluded (interestingly the tram was renumbered 1030 of which this fleet number does not exist, and the Metrolink name was replaced by PolitanLink).

The viaduct as such doesn't exist. It's just a facade

This was the actual tram used

I think I'm going to have to start watching Corrie again regularly again frankly, even Sean was very good last night and this is after years of wanting him and Kym Marsh killed off for being appalling.

Would it fair to say that if Charlotte doesnt count as one of the four that it's Rita, Sunita, Ashley and Molly with either Rita/Sunita surviving if Charlotte does count?

I can't imagine there will be much yuletide spirit on the cobbles this Christmas...

That's all we need, turning on the tv a couple of days before Christmas and have to listen to all their wailing. :drama:

Oh no! Ashley is one of the best characters, he should've left Nick to hold that up and watch him burn instead. :(

Poor Rita. :(

Nobody even has a clue she's trapped in the rubble. I suppose when you have Norris and Emily as your main screamers/worriers you're probably fecked.

I had to laugh at how Gail said that part to the Doctor "I can't! My son is trapped in there" in a really dramatic voice. I half expected her to turn her head away very fast and choke back tears.

Does anyone else think that Keith Duffy's (don't know his name haven't watched it in ages) all clear may have been a double bluff, the doctor telling him that he was fine seemed a bit obvious.

Ashely and Molly are the goners by the looks of things, im surprised that builder bloke and his ex wife now going out with llyod survived.

Great episode tonight it was like watching a film.

According to reports Aled -

Charlotte isn't dead anyway.

Correct.

Fantastic acting from Vicky Binns (Molly) tonight - and that's not sarcasm. When she gave the baby to the fireman I welled up big time. Apparently she's to go all out acting wise tomorrow night, can't wait. Don't want her to die anymore!

I was annoyed at that rescuer man blabbing so much at Molly, geez don't you know what situation you're in? Get the job done! :manson:

I'm not surprised she's probably dead, I wouldn't have been surprised if she had snuffed it while he was flapping his lips for what seemed like an age.

The rescue man who saved baby jack from molly was he in hollyoaks or some other show, its annoying me since i watched it?
