I'm sure when Kylie and David return Steve's 25 grand he'll be able to buy some replacement furniture for Ken and Deirdre. I just hope none of Deidre's nice new pots that she's made have been damaged - items like that are hard to replace.

CARLA: is set for a huge storyline, gets raped by Frank Foster in a week of special episodes. She will also reignite her interest in Peter after the death of her mother, she returns to the drink.

 

LEANNE: is to fall down the stairs and lose her baby, find her mother and her relatioship with Peter will enter a rocky patch.

 

TRACY: will get pregnant by Steve, miscarry and blame Becky

 

BECKY: will live with Roy and Hayley, divorce and sleep with Nick.

 

NICK; will also sleep with new girl Eva.

 

TINA; is to get with the doctor who has secrets in his closet.

 

TOMMY: is to get with AMBER, who returns and will also open a stripping agency with Kylie, who is sacked from the salon. ROSIE and JASON will join.

 

ROSIE: is to embark on an affair with SALLY's boyfriend, JEFF.

 

AUDREY: is to get with MARC after CLAUDIA departs.

 

EILEEN; is to find love with fireman PAUL who also has a secret.

The sooner Becky goes the better. I don't know why the producers expect us to feel sorry for her as though she's some sort of hard-done-by tragedy queen when all the things that have happened to her have been all of her own making. I hate the way the Becky character has really dampened what used to be a really strong character - Steve. At present I'd much rather have Michelle Collins and her faux-Northern accent than Katharine Kelly and her melodramatics.

 

I do wish Corrie would have people settling their financial debts as well. Isn't it about time Roy Cropper asked for the £25,000 that Tracey owes him and Steve get the other £25,000 that Kylie owes him, i.e. the money that both paid for purchasing children.

 

I've given up on Corrie now - its just as bad as Eastenders. Emmerdale puts them both to shame and that soap has its fair share of bad acting.

I like her. It's the generation she's from. Of course someone her age is shocked at a sex change!!

I have to admit ive been tuning into corrie since the arrival of michelle collins as i wanted to see what she was like, i think she could work well for the show although of course i would have been much happier if she had returned to eastenders as cindy beale. Again im not great on names with corrie as im not an avid watcher but roys mother i thought was hilarious over the hayley stuff, the only thing i say as a negative though is why do the scriptwriters feel tracy barlow should be the one let every single secret out about people, its very annoying.

I'm loving Katherine Kelly. It's a shame she's leaving. I'd much rather Tracy. There's little use for her.

I'm sure Carla slipping over on her heel outside the Rovers wasn't scripted - I actually jumped a bit - it looked really painful (especially as I did the same thing a few weeks ago!)

 

BTW I love Carla and would rather watch her any day of the week than the increasingly annoying Becky. Speaking of Becky's antics - loved Ken coming into the pub and cutting the lead to the jukebox with scissors.

The thing is - the character is OK. Why the need for a northern accent - couldn't they have had Stella appear as a southerner? The do move north sometimes don't they know!

Just think though - Sally and Kevin always thought it was Rosie who was the stupid daughter! :lol:

 

Anyway - Amber's back soon (she and Tamwar from EE are my two favourite young people in soapland). If only they could get together!
