KEN! DO SOMETHING!!!!!

I love Claudia laughing her head off in the background, they need to bring her back!

I'm a fortnight behind on Corrie, need to catch up. Has anything interesting happened?

There's an hour long episode tomorrow (Sunday) 7 - 8pm to make up for no episodes yesterday.
So Ryan gets fined £80, but before he was desperate for money...?

Good point!!

Sue Johnston makes her first appearance on Wednesday

Gloria is just too predictable so far and full of many cliches, that should all settle down very soon as Sue Johnson is worth alot more than the cheap lines she has been given so far.

Love Sue but have to agree that Gloria seems to be quite a nuisance, they need to tone her down a bit.

Tina and Tommy or "Tommeh!" as she calls him are also getting on my nerves at the moment.

Finding this Lloyd story rather dull so far and the acting from his ex and the daughter leaves a lot to be desired.

I did lol at Gloria tonight though, mistaking Mary as Norris's daughter

Craig Charles is an actor who doesn't realise his limitations (neither do the scriptwriters). He's terrific in any comedic scenes (especially with Simon Gregson) but whenever he's trying to do 'tragic' or 'hard done by' ... he's awful - no other word for it. It always looks like he's trying to surpress a laugh. Odd really - in that in The Red Dwarf - he was consistently out-funnied by every single other member of the cast (with the possible exception of Danny Jules - the Cat fella!)

Massive fan of Sue Johnston but I'm not buying her presence on the Street. Although I do love her funny one-liners (the Mary/Norris line, the constant references to Rita's 'loud' wardrobe, etc). And speaking of Norris and Mary - they provided the best bits of last night's episode.

Have yet to watch last nights, I'm liking Gloria, still feels weird her being in it though.

Fed up of Tina & Tommy being shoved into our faces in every storyline though

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Kath. I enjoy his scenes with Steve and Eileen joking around in the cab office but whenever he's given a 'serious' storyline of his own he just isn't cut out for it. He works better as just a background character.

Just watched last night's episodes today! Natalie, the girl who plays Kirsty, is just fabulous and the introduction of her character has brought out a good storyline for Alan Halsall and some bloody good performances from him. Sadly I can't see any way that her character can stay in Coronation Street for much longer. Corrie isn't the kind of program to have people make 180 degree turns and become 'nice' guys - usually they make any wrong-doers (although I actually see Kirsty more as damaged rather than a villain) suffer an appropriate punishment - either by death or prison.

I can't take much more of Lloyd - I have to leave the room whenever he appears (during this ridiculous storyline anyway).

I'm not ashamed to admit that I loved the scenes between Tracey and Michelle.

Loved last night's episode, there seemed to be a lot going on. And I do actually like the idea of Marcus and Maria as a couple!
