Did anyone else notice after Kevin said the electrics were out, the Christmas lights behind Sally were flashing throughout the episode....

Hallelujah! They finally found Rita!

Feel bad for Sally, but at the same time she is turning into a bit of a loon. With good reason though I suppose.

I don't think John Stapes is evil either.....just morally awkward.

He smashed a women over the head with a hammer, he is evil.

She did go for him with it first! The only thing more weird than Charlotte ... were her parents!

I've just had a thought about the 'four deaths' ... maybe the fourth death is Kevin and Sally's marriage!

We need a bit of jollity in here amongst all this sadness. Let's remind us of a happier time!

Rita still isnt out the woods yet, so could still be the fourth death I suppose. Glad they finally found her though, it was becoming tedious frankly having a few scenes of her every episode just to remind us she was still there.
The funniest thing about that clip isn't the pie throw (which isn't funny) but the sight of Peter in the background hiding his laughter behind a DVD case or something and then the cut back to him looking ultra serious. Whoops!

I agree ... the actual pie throw wasn't funny ... but it was all the action surrounding it that was ... such as the bit you picked out. Plus ... I'm sure David's 'What a shot' wasn't scripted!

Did anyone see the Corrie quiz thing hosted by Paul O'Grady tonight. It was pants actually apart from two fabulous bits. The Harry Hill / Ken Barlow video song ... and Norris and Mary on Countdown! Guest appearance in Dictionary Corner by a very, very funny Carol Smillie!

There was a countdown over last night and the night before, of Corrie's favourite 50 moments. This is number one ... and I'm forced to agree!

Sally was excellent tonight and i have always thought she is corries most under rated actress for years, i cant see kevin and sally being split up forever they will probably re unite by next christmas, i dont want them to permantly split up. I read somewhere that kevin reminds sally of her last affair which he kept quiet about for the sake of the family so that might get them somewhere.
So for a week that's been highly publicised as four funerals and a wedding, there were 3 deaths :/

Yep it's been confirmed that the 'four funerals...' tagline was a red herring and the fourth death is infact the taxi driver mentioned in one of the episodes.

Bit of a cop out!

I had been thinking maybe Hope the newborn baby would be the fourth death....but if it's been confirmed as a red herring. Looks like she'll live. :)

Whatever ... last night's scenes with John Stape in Charlotte's house (with her parents) were pretty nail-biting. I really don't want him to get found out but we all know he will.

And ... as every, Sally Dynevor was fabulous. If she doesn't get a few awards next year then there is no justice.

Kath

What taxi driver died!? And I agree - massive copout; Peter would've died in his circumstances before reaching the hospital!

Now Corrie is amazing TV at the minute but I wouldn't call Sally Dynevor a great actress (not from what I've seen this week). She's really hammy.

CARLA she AIN'T.

Couldn't John just say Charlotte gave him keys and he was collecting something of his? It's not that shocking that Charlotte's parents saw him.

I still don't think John is completely evil, Charlotte did attack him first after all. I don't think he means to kill people....but it just happens. I think he's like that. :P Maybe it's because his basic character seems so goofy and loveable? He has that face you can't stay mad at for long.

You killed Charlotte? Oh you! Don't do that again you naughty so and so. :nono:

Richard Hillman was evil.
