The weekend is an unpredictable time for newer tracks, but it will rise next week.

I think there's a 70% chance that Outta My Head will be released as the next single. It's got so much buzz surrounding it.

Why will they waste money with a third single after I Got You flops. There's no buzz surrounding her anymore. Look at the disastrous chart run of the album.

I kinda agree. It would have created a lot of buzz around her then but Happy is a stunning song and deserved recognition. It's a shame though that the uncommercial nature of Happy cost Echo's sales and peak positions SO FAR.

Yeah but that was down to the choice of the lead single. She's proven that she can sell records worldwide - she still does (look at Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK/Ire and still even US etc). I Got You wasn't the best 2nd single choice imo (Love Letter or OMH should imo) but it won't flop. Leona has made a name for herself and #1s aren't everything.

 

Not everyone has to have buzz around them to succeed - i hate that way of thinking. Beyonce had little buzz around her when she returned in 2008 with IIWAB and still managed to get #1. And how is Echo's chart run disasterous? It was #1 and it's stayed around long enough to sell 600k. She'll return when IGY and OMH are released. Wasn't she #55 this week in the albums chart?!
