I think it could do a Pixie Lott - Cry me Out? Look at how much longer that has stuck around compared to her much higher peaking singles! B&G's on;y managed 8 weeks in the top 40 while CMO is already on 14 and looks like it may get 1 or 2 more.

The video for Imma Be/Rock That Body is very good, but MMH's vid is a bit better.

That doesnt make sense, as leona's second album has sold more than alex's debut album even though its been out a month later and has had a lot less promo so far..so you have no sense to your point..AGAIN.

I think the important point is so far in terms of sales.Leona released Echo to an established fanbase and I think she is currently on 590k in sales while Alex is on 539k.Alex though remains in the Top 30 with Overcome and Leona is at 51 I think with no single in the Top 40 either.I do not think the point Tacticz is making is wrong as it is obvious mistakes have been made at Syco.

Technically alex should be selling more as she has been in the public eye in UK alot more than leona has recently with broken heels out and the endless promo for badboys and support from TV & Radio. Not hitting 600.000 for her label would be a bit disapointing as i'm sure they would have been expecting success along the lines of JLS (already 1million on album sales with 3 top 10 hits).

I'm not saying alex hasnt done well, she has, but if her first album cant sell over 600,000 her second album definitely wont. However saying that i think the silence will possibly sell the album better then broken heels, but we'll have to wait and see..i'm sure that will be her last single from Overcome, not sure they'll do a deluxe either.

Echo is far from a flop, double platnum and will probably hit 1million by the end of the year. Not every album will sell exactly the same as the previous one, you obviously have no real knowledge on the music industry, just a very young and nieve fan of mainstream stars..you'll learn as you get a bit older ;)

That's one thing i don't understand. Many people consider Leona a flop regarding her second album just cos of it's American performance - which still went to #13. But she has already sold 1.5 million copies of it worldwide, 600k of it in the UK and Happy has sold over 200k. That is not a flop. I Got You isn't doing too good but that is one single. Plenty of artists have them. Leona was bound to have one in this download era (songs available from album release).

 

Facts are facts and Leona has sold 600k with an 'underperforming' single, which is the only single so far. Alexandra has sold 500k with technically 3 huge singles (bar BH which was a moderately successful one).

 

I really like Alexandra but she'd be lucky if she got the sales and chart position that Leona got with this album - which hasn't got all it's sales yet.

 

And i'd like to add to the more off-topicage that i hate how brits feel the need to knock british successes down when they are hugely successful.

 

And Tacticz, stop saying Eco is a flop when it's not please :) If it sold 60k then you could but it is by no means a flop and comparing it to Spirit is crazy. Rated R is then a flop in your eyes compared to GGGB. But in sensible people's eyes it isn't much of one. Judge it on it's own performance.
