She may never have had a US number 1, but that still doesn't mean she's not huge over there

Didn't 'Party In The USA' stay Top 10 for like 3 months or something? And I didn't say she had a number 1 in their official charts, I said on iTunes, which she was number 1 for like forever it seemed...

Yup, 6 weeks at #1 on digital sales!

Airplay stopped her from being #1 on Billboard. :arrr:

Jennifer Hudson is a first rate entertainment personality in the US. This cannot be denied. People do not get invites to the White House, win oscars, win grammies and get invited to do tributes for people like MJ and Whitney Houston without being A list. When her next album is released this will be proven.

I'm not debating Miley Cyrus her sales and media empire speak for itself.

Justin Bieber has sold millions of singles and over a million albums with his proper album being released next month. He is the biggest male teen star in the US right night behind him from Twighlight.

The facts speak for themselves.

Plus you forgot to mention this is only YOUR opinion, not anyone elses, so don't try to force anyone here to have the same opinion. I share others: BEPs, Lady GaGa etc.

Where is the "quality" issue? For me a Bieber or a Cyrus never will be first rate artist.

And because this is the iTunes thread and not a thread about US artists and charts, and you clearly can't stop arguing I close this thread for a while. Later will be opened and if I see this debate will be continued, will delete the posts.

THIS :heehee:

What is that NOISE that Wyclef makes when he sings :o

Replay is back in the Top10. The boys from Glee Cast having dropped to #11.

The number 10 spot is unusually weak, it looks good for whatever is the strongest new tune released tomorrow.

Helping Haiti dropping fast still. Will only be a few days at the top now - unless promotion turns it around.

When will be the video for Telephone released? It should now climb higher than 30. :(
^ End of the month, rumours are circling that it's 12 mins long and will premiere on the 24th.

12 mins? Another Paparazzi video?

I can't wait for that :o

Taylor Swift's Song might get a boost now 'Valentines Day' is out in Cinema :).

Helping Haiti lost a lot of lead in the last 24 hours :o

I Got You not moving much *yawns*

I still think it was a silly idea premiering the video 10 days before release

Alicia to overtake Timbo! :w00t:

I think (hope) IWEMA has already peaked.

I've just heard/seen IWEMA on Viva/4music this morning and it really isn't that good. By Katy's standards anyway. Probably amazing by Tim's though :kink:

12 mins? Another Paparazzi video?

I can't wait for that :o

Gaga has said it is Paparazzi Part 2 as the story of the Paparazzi video continues into this one with B bailing her out of jail for killing her boyfriend.
