What a fantastic finale in every way. I didn't think I could love this show any more

 can't wait for season 5

crazy how parks and recreation has managed to make a comedy show so emotional and so fulfilling. you genuinely care about these characters

Rewatching season 3, it's actually a lot better than season 4 in terms of out and out comedy, but I think season 4 had a better season ark.

1 9/10

2 10/10

3 10/10 (the best one yet)

4 9/10

As much as I LOVED this season (particularly the Trial and Ron & Tammys episodes), season 3 was better. As for season 2, it deserves 10/10 just for that:

  • 4 weeks later...
  • 1 month later...

Finally catching up on this show. On 304 currently and MY GOD. Season 3 somehow manages to be better than season 2.

Can't believe I waited so long to watch this!

I watched this for the first time this week. It's bloody awful. I am starting to realise that American "comedies" are really for a different mindset to mine. I like wit and observation. The current crop seems to be based on cringe and awkward situations. Which I dont find funny at all. Modern Family is horrendous too - apart from some of the child actors.

BYE then

Parks & Recreation is one of the warmest and smartest comedies airing right now... Although if you watched season one then I'd probably agree with you.

Modern Family is crap.

Once you get through season 1 and get onto season 2 it becomes one of the smartest, most genuinely funny shows on TV right now.

(I kinda love Modern Family, it's all about Claire's facial expressions.)

Meh. I'm still like the only one who loves season 1 of Parks and Rec :( And Modern Family used to be great but quickly went downhill. Everything is so predictable now (gay jokes, awkward situations involving Cameron and Mitch, Claire's outbursts, Phil's silly ideas, Haley being dumb and Alex smart).

Season 1 is my favourite season of Parks and Rec! The first 4 episodes are flawless. I think Lesley eating that flower and the dog poo fight are two of the funniest moments for me. The boys club is just a brilliant episode from start to finish as well.

I dont know which season I was watching. All the people in the offoce were digging up dirt on one another in some sort of competition with each other.

When i try to introduce people to this great show, i usually tell them to start at season two where it starts getting really good, think this is my fave comedy on tv right now!

Is the book "Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America" worth buying? :o

Has anyone read it?
