what it is came out in 2008. it's not actually kanye's song, it's by sophia fresh and he's featured on it.

 

no good ass job single has been announced yet.he has a foundation concert in june, people think he might preview his single at that.

Great lead single. The message & production are great. His flow is great on "Power". It's nice to hear Kanye return to spitting lines like "they say I was the abomination of Obama’s nation", crazy! Love the change in tempo towards the end of the song, too.

I think it's massively crap. A headache.

Aaah this has grown on me so much already. Don't think it's as instant as some of his previous lead singles but there's nothing wrong with that.

Apparently it features Dwele. I wouldn't have known it was him tbh! :lol:

The vocal is much clearer on the mastered version. The beat is just out of this world; so complex. Overall, a great lead single with a strong message to the haters. I totally understand the concept & meaning behind the artwork, but I'm not feeling it. Oh well, the track speaks for itself.

I love Kanye. Power is amazing. The concept of the album is very interesting. This is a must buy for me.

Where did you get that artwork from?? The album name has yet to be confirmed. "Good Ass Job" has been the strong possibility for a few months now, but recent rumours suggest the record will be titled "Imma Let You Finish". Kanye has not given confirmation of this, so I think that cover is fanmade.

^^ Someone on another forum posted it, saying it was on amazon for a while before being taken down. I just assumed it was legit as it has the frame, which fits in with the cover for 'Power'. It's probably not official then if the title hasn't been confirmed...I hope it's not too, not a fan of it!

According to Pitchfork, "Good Ass Job" is no longer the title, and there's a new single coming, either "Lost In The World" or "All Of The Lights". The Yorke / Reznor inspired lyrics sound very interesting too. Maybe Power is now just a hype single, albeit a fantastic one? Can't wait for this album, so excited for it, his previous 4 have all been masterpieces.
