August 6, 201113 yr Finally downloaded this a few weeks back, and wow. I knew the four singles were all incredible but the entire first half plays virtually flawlessly. "Dark Fantasy" and "Gorgeous" are both brilliant, I'm not fond of "So Appalled" though.
August 7, 201113 yr Large amounts of jealousy. Where at? Aha, makes us sort of even, with you having seen Cudi! Kanye was playing at the Big Chill (festival) - I couldn't resist going, even if just for the day. Just felt like it would be too good to miss. And DAMN I was right. Wow!!! That's amazing! I've never seen any artist before. :( I hope you have a good time. :D Thanks, you should really go and see some people though! Really recommend Kanye!! It was seriously the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. He put on such an incredible show, at points I was just in complete awe! He came on about half an hour late (although later explained it was because he was losing his voice - which was quite evident in a couple of songs. He definitely gave it his all though!). The performance was divided into three acts and the beginning of the first one was just WOW...about twenty of his dancers (in phoenix costumes) came out one by one, dancing around the stage to the operatic part of H.A.M. before kneeling down on the ground to hail a massive painting/print of some sort of statue (not really quite sure what it was), when the beat properly drops (like at the very end of H.A.M.) they went absolutely mental, with their whole bodies shaking to the rhythm. I can tell I'm explaining this all in a way that doesn't really make any sense but it's something you really need to see in order to fully 'get' I think. 'Dark Fantasy' was the first full song he played (). When he started rapping he wasn't on the stage though and it was only when a light shone from the stage to a tower behind the majority of the crowd that we all realised he was at the very top! MIND. BLOWN. Seriously in awe of the whole thing at this point! He played some of every album, along with some of his features ('Run This Town', 'E.T.'), tributes to Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse and about half way through - just after 'Monster' - he did a ten-minute long speech about how he always tries to make sure his shows are as strong as possible and that was the reason he had been late out. He also went on to say that he'd deliberately decided to say all of this after 'Monster' as he feels he is always wrongly portrayed in the media - like some kind of monster, when in reality, he is just dedicated to his artform. You could tell that he really meant all of this and at this point I actually felt so sorry for him because of all the stick he gets! Highlights for me were 'Dark Fantasy', 'Power', 'Good Life', 'Runaway', 'Jesus Walks', 'Diamonds from Sierra Leone' and his feature in 'E.T.'. The way he completely OWNED the stage was seriously incredible to see. The he moved especially...man he got some moves!! Basically, what I learnt from all of this is I have the BIGGEST MAN CRUSH on him. Haha. I have some photos but they're not too clear (even though I was only about the 5th row from the front!) - I'll try to post some when I've uploaded them to my laptop. P.S. Sorry for the essay but I just had to express how much I loved it somehow! Oh and 'Lost in the World' is the next single. EEEE, brilliant choice. Edited August 7, 201113 yr by Cremey

Someone on my Facebook was talking about seeing Kanye too, so maybe he went to the same place as you. And I agree about Lost in the World being a good single choice. I can't wait to hear more Kanye on the radio. :D
August 7, 201113 yr Yeah, Cremey, guess we're even. Out of curiousity, did he do All of the Lights, or was that one left for Cudi only? :P Like you said, despite how the media portrays him, Kanye really does seem like a dedicated guy, and he likes to make it known. You can tell that he puts his all into every song, every album, every feature, every beat, etc. I really do respect him as and artist and as a person for that. Hey Mama remains one of my favorite rap songs of all time - it's so heartbreaking now, I always remember that Grammy performance when I listen to it. He loved his mom with all his heart, and he wasn't afraid to not only show it, but shout it to the rooftops. Ok, rant over. Back on topic. :P Lost in the World as a single?? Can't really picture it, but I do love that song. Dark Fantasy next? Or am I pushing it at that point?
August 7, 201113 yr I HATE YOU And omg Lost in the World  (not that it's going to do much but we can HOPE)
August 17, 201113 yr Found this the other day, what do you guys think? It's a little rough but I like it. x_SU8oASTA4
September 4, 201113 yr "Lost In The World" is just a poor version of "Woods". Its Woods with an added flair of KANYE.
September 6, 201113 yr graduation and late registration had to be his best material, althuoght 808's had some beauties!
February 16, 201411 yr So this has cemented itself as my favourite album ever. Every song is just so so incredible. Bye 'A Weekend in the City', #2 is calling you now.
