She has still not shown any remorse for what she did or apologised to the women.Plus she has so not done lots of live performances since she went solo you would be hard pushed to name even 3.

You don't even know what you're talking about. She did express remorse on a lot of occasions, including on national TV show with Jonathan Ross or in the GA autobiography, both having a huge audience. She did say it was so wrong and could have never happened etc etc. So stop talking $h!t if you don't even know what you're talking about, you're just making stuff up to make her sound bad.

Considering her background and what she has achieved, she is a great role model for anyone, and this snap with the girl seven years ago wouldn't change it.

 

And actually she only did 9 solo TV performances so far (UK & Europe), including 4 100% live performances (once again you don't even get your facts right), 2 mimed performances, and the other 3 being semi/mostly live.

 

Are you not a JLS fan though? I find it hard to believe you criticise Cheryl on her live abilities considering the $h!t JLS are as a live act.

It has since came out that her vocals were pre-recorded live that afternoon, before she mimed her way through her X-Factor "live" performance - hence giving the illusion that she was actually singing and energetically dancing at the same time.

 

Alexandra Burke did the identical trick on the X-Factor - When a week later he did sing impressively well live on E4 but with a much toned down choreographed performance. As do a lot of artists when performing "live" in TV studios due to difficulties with dance routines or with monitors, etc.

 

Still at least it is (marginally) better than miming to a record.

She was actually pretty good on the Children In Need event at the Albert Hall. Maybe not Streisandesque ... but a hell of a lot better than some other performers. For instance ... I've seen some live performances of Rihanna's ... and I honestly wished she'd mimed!

Ellie Goulding right now is saving music industry. I hope she does well. It will encourage labels to sign more song-writers who can sing and market them as artists. Diana Vickers also would have been a nice success story.... but her sound is just so.... :/ I have faith in her though! Jumping Into Rivers and Once are good proper tunes. Not liked the sampler that much though.

 

All this Taoi Cruz $h!t, Justin Bieber is just a huge fail on the industry and even Cheryl Cole is included in that. I do like Cheryl though. I believe she keeps it real as possible for a pop artist. Her lip syncing at the Brits was expected. Her personal life isn't exactly a fairytale at the moment.

Having said that...... watch this and say that Cheryl couldn't of sang live that night.

wow :cry: when Lady gaga heard that Michael Jackson had died she wouldnt do any of her shows and he wasnt family to her- the fact Avril can do that whilst still in tears is really amazing

 

As for Cheryl, if Avril Lavigne can do that, theres no reason why she cant sing live for something far less tragic - and actually artists in general, the fact you get JLS miming on every single 'live' appearance is really pathetic after watching that
