I hate how the UK charts are dominated by anything and everything American it is a bloody joke and complete bollocks-Glee, Iyaz, Justin Bieber, Jason derulo,Bedrock,Owl City, Kesha.I am sure the current Top 10 is the most English it has been in years.

I really think that a huge amount of people won't/don't even know of Jade's Eurovision connection...

 

quite a few people I've talked to at work have no recollection of Jade being in Eurovision/couldn't care less about it/obviously missed the blanket coverage last May - they thought she was a brand new band member plucked from obscurity, much like Amelle :lol:

 

I don't know of many people that think 'Eurovision' when they think of Sugababes, even I don't really and I was a massive fan of It's My Time

I used to majorly dislike a few bands that I don't now... I always dismissed Paramore as whiny tripe but "Ignorance" encouraged me to listen to them more and I'm glad I did, "Riot!" is just :wub:

 

I used to hate My Chemical Romance, largely because of the whole 'emo' tag but now that's lost relevance I can accept that "I'm Not Okay" and "Famous Last Words" are brilliant and "Welcome To The Black Parade" is one of the best #1s of the last decade.

 

However, I'm still fairly set in my ways about Radiohead. "The Bends", I accept, is very very good and "OK Computer" is alright but everything since is overrated bollocks that just confirms they're willing to do anything that gets the critics "ooh"-ing and "ah"-ing over something Hot Chip or Daft Punk could have shat out in their sleep.

I agree about Radiohead, the only song I really like from them is Nude and that's because of the Skins series 2 advert.

I agree Amelle isn't to blame, she's the only reason i still pay attention to them.

 

2.0 was the band i fell in love with. Nothing can replace them in my heart. They were the first band i looned over, while i did become a proper 3.0 loon i will always be a 2.0fanboy. Mutya still is the greatest member of the band for me.

The management have far too much control over the Babes now. It's scary to see what they've become. I couldn't see 4.0 releasing Ugly or something as personal as Follow Me Home [i'm still pissed Amelle rerecorded that]

worst things in music atm are JLS :| i would happily burn every copy of everybody in love ever created and i hate the fact they won 2 brits (la roux should really have won best single, especially when you take into account the circumstances upon which the song became so successful) damn voting public <_<

I can't help but laugh everytime i hear 4.0 singing Get Sexy. It's hilariously disastrous.

 

4.0 singing AAG and Rabbit Heart in the live lounge was lush tho
